This product is greasy and shiny but the hold is not as strong as advertised. The hold is still somewhat soft and does not fix your hair into place unless you add other products in like hairspray. The product has the consistency of viscous Vaseline.The product is somewhat difficult to get out of your hair, but not "impossible" like the other reviewer said. I found washing hair twice did the trick.It comes in an oversized jar, but you get a tiny amount of product and for the price, you really should get more. I think this is an average product compared to the other products that Oribe makes.

This pomade is excellent especially if you have unruly hair. It is pricey however you only need to use a small amount so this will last you a long time. So the price does even out in the long run. And also if you do not wash your hair every day then the next day you still have good looking hair. It leaves your hair looking good and gives it a natural shine. However only use a small amount do not use a lot.The smell and the consistency is nice.

It is very sticky and heavy. Not right for my hair. Hard to wash off hands and hair. And, didn't have the really great smell that some of their other products have. Sorry.

I have been going gray for a few years now and the hair is very coarse. Because of this there are a ton of unruly flyaways at the part in my hair. I have tried so many Different products to try and control these hairs, but all have either not worked at all or worked but left my hair greasy or sticky. My stepson uses this for his hair and one day on my way out the door I grabbed it and tried it figuring that I have nothing to lose at this point. I was blown away because this keeps my hair where I want it, it’s not greasy or sticky, and it controls my gray hairs all day! Worth every penny!

I didn't like the heavy consistency. It is not easy to pick up product with your fingers. The hold is so-so. Not impressed. Expensive for a very average product.

Everyone is looking for that perfect product. I've gone through so many looking for a cheaper alternative. Nothing for me, nothing, comes even remotely close to "The OG". Put it in, stays shapable and controllable for 3 days. And I have thick frustrating hair. Waxy? Yes. Hard to wash out? Yes. But if you're looking for no muss no fuss longevity, it doesn't get better. Don't let the price tag deter you. It is value for your dollar. One puck lasts me 2-3 months easy of regular use.

I love this product for my short, course, wavy hair, and I have tried many many different things. I use heat tools (flat iron, dryer) and I like that I can style my hair dry, use the tiniest bit of this product and it all stays in place. You can easily iron or curl over this pomade after it's in, and it adds a little extra smoothness & shine. It also smells great!
