Very easy to paint onto, accurate dimensions, but two have visible cracks or patches which I had to sand and fill before painting.If you’re painting thick oil, you won’t have any issues, but for lighter paints you will need to tidy up some boards for a good finish.

Nicely made although for my art I require them to be competley flat 2 of the boards had a slight embossed line throught it which i think is due to the sanding process on the top surface, the edges are very tight and neat and no overlapping. If you are going to paint direct onto the board you will see the embossed line unless you are doing a very thick layer like acrylic pouring or resin direct to the wood. I will try and sand them flat bit as the line is so smooth it may not work. The line is a couple of cm's wide and embossed 1 or 2mm. Other than that they are well made, i have only ordered 1 pack so I can only comment on the pack i recieved

These were such a a good buy for the money! I stained them and used them to make string art for Christmas. They were good quality and look great when stained and held up to the nails. Good buy.
