Well made and sturdy
Zilmet: Well made and sturdy. Has lasted 2 years now without issue.Fixing screws that secure the vessel to the mounting bracket are a bit difficult to tighten due to the design.BTW, someone mentioned that they had the 18L version leak at the weld, but they appear to not have mounted it properly. They did not use the bracket that it comes with but instead they used a tight metal band to hold it in place which the vessel was not designed for. They in effect caused the problem they had with the vessel.

Perfect remedy for a boiler with a failed internal Expansion Vessel
A relative's boiler had a problem with loosing pressure. The expansion vessel in the boiler was the culprit. Pressing the Schrader valve and water came out. Not possible to take it out. So exterior Exp Vessel, only answer. Zilmet is a very good make with a "lousy" fixing bracket, that needs a redesign. I'd recommend this product.

Works just fine was hard to remove the original from the boiler, this one sitting on the wall next to the boiler, don't recommend if your boilers on show in the kitchen etc. Mines in the loft so no problem.

Did the trick - internal expansion vessel in our combi boiler has failed. This is a good and cheaper replacement. Working fine and easy to install
