5 stars if you follow a certain rule... 1 star if you don't
All ready rolled puff pastry is NOT the same...Jus-Rol is probably the standard in ready rolled pastry. However, it is expensive and it is annoyingly not quite wide enough for most of the recipes I use it for. So I have to roll it out a bit.Morrisons own is good value for money and is the perfect width for my uses... it can be used straight out of the box. So now, the 'Certain Rule' I menioned in my headline... If your fridge is kept at the standard temperature, then make sure that you have all your fillings prepared in advance and ready to go, so it is just a matter of putting them into the pastry.Take your pastry out of the fridge and allow it to stand at room temeperature for a maximum of 10 minutes... less if its a warm day... Unroll the pastry and fill it immediately... then either put it straight into a pre-heated oven or put your prepared items back in the fridge (on parchment) to cook later...If you leave it on the worksurface for too long then it can stick to the parchment and 'melt'... So, for instance, If you are making sausage rolls, they will be a nightmare to roll and can even break up...You can leave Jus-Rol for much longer before it does this... it is much more forgiving.Use this Morrisons pastry immediately and you'll get perfect results... Leave it out for too long and you might have a failed recipe on your hands and a swift trip to the local convenience store to get a replacement.

Easy to use, and Perfect for sweet or savoury
I have bought and used this in the past for making home made pie and mash with liquor. Delicious tasting and very easy to use. Will definitely continue buying.

Product has recently been changed to Vegan
Used to be great and buttery, but instead of introducing a seperate Vegan option, Morrisons has seen fit to change this, and it is now DISGUSTING in both taste and texture. We will not be buying this again unless it is changed back!
