Very good low cost for Volunteer Wildfire on Baofeng
Works very well on Baofeng handheld HAM radio used by Wildfire VFD member for monitoring and during fire fighting. Folding feature works well, greatly extends range and increases clarity of incoming signal. Used in hilly country that typically causes lots of UHF/VHF/Cellular holes where transmitting/receiving is sporadic or nonexistent.

Just WOW
So far so good. I just received a few days ago and have not fully tested. Will update later...

go for 1/2 wavelength
so thats the one closest to 1 meter and it works great. I did dissassemble the existing antenna that came with the BaoFeng and it has an LC circuit in its base. it is not a purely resistive load as indicated in other comments and questions

It works
It works but it doesn’t seem any better (extended) than a whip antenna at its folded length.

Look like Garand Thumb
I brought this to look like Garand Thumb (Travis Haley's son) and it did not disappoint

Adapter broke immediately
The adapter which connects the goose-neck/folding antennae broke immediately when tightening to the radio. The plastic housing is secured to the internal components with glue, which breaks under minimal tension. Avoid this brand

Worse SWR than other antennas I have for that handitalkie.
Subject says it all.

Sucks
the goose neck didn't fit, only the antenna did and was missing the stubby.
