The product feels solid and I appreciated the accessories included such as the dust cloth and wrist strap and like how the case offers two points of attachment. I'm not actually willing to test the case's water proofing property because I don't have the money to buy a new phone but certainly a better buy than the Lifeproof. The screen protector is very glossy but that may be just how these cases areUpdate: Water test successfulOnly complaint about the case is when video chatting the mics become more sensitive and the case makes lots of noise for some reason on the micUpdate as of 08/10/16:The case corner cracked from I assume accumulated drops. The water seal has held up but the case will break soon so I'm replacing it. This case does not have an opening for the mic which really muffles and distorts me for phone calls and for that reason I'm just going to upgrade to the Lifeproof case

This is a Great Value for the money! I tested this case as soon as I got it. I put it on my phone and dropped it in a pot of cold water to see if it really was waterproof. And it was! I couldn't believe that I found a case for as little as it costed me that protected my phone so well under the hazards that I put my phones through. Whether I'm doing home repairs (which is a lot of the time) or working on one of the cars; even working in the yard or cutting down trees. I put my phones in harm's way a lot. This case is just now needing to be replaced. But I've had it almost a year. A year of it falling into water, from the top of a few trees I was working on or cutting down, ran over by my car, falling from 20 feet in the air and hitting concrete and even slammed in the crease of a trunk. It's not indestructible, but I was really wondering for a while! I can't believe how well it's protected my phone for less than the cost of a small carry out pizza!

Great case. Does what it is supposed to. I went to a water park and rode rides and everything with no issues. I gave it 4 stars because using it as a phone while the case is on is almost impossible. I bought 2, one for me and one for my wife. We could not both have the cases on and talk to each other, you could hear much ot make out what each other were saying. I would uses this everyday if it weren't for the horrible call quality. If you just want to protect your phone while at the beach or whatever, its great. I would recommend either Bluetooth or wired headset.

Would have given 5 if not for audio problems for listeners during conversation. They had difficulty hearing me. Which was resolved by using my bluetooth. Another issue was constant pocket/face dialing due to the plasitc phone face cover actully touching the face of the phone which is a touch screen.. Finally I purchased this in August of '15 it is begining of March '16 and last week I noticed the unit is broken along the side. There is a split along the side where the top cover meets the bottom (back of phone protector) with camera and light holes are and make a seam. It did not break off but the sliver has caught on my fingers lifting up (that's how I noticed it) and will most likely break off soon. Therefore I highly doubt is is waterproof any longer. I do however recomend it for short term use like a vacation, at water park, pool side or on the beach. I dropped my phone several times and it definetly protected my phone which is still in tact and working thanks to the case. So for me it was definately worth the money, even if in less than a year I am shopping for a new cover.

I purchased two of these... One for I and another for the wife. Both arrived today and tested them both in water... They both leaked through the headphone port! But who listens to music underwater any way... So I hot glued them both and sealed them permanently. Now they both don't leak. Other than the headphone pretty cheap plastic design the cases are really heavy duty!!!I look forward to taking these cases to Cali with me next week to get underwater pictures having the reassurance that both my Galaxy S5 phone and case are both water resistant!!! That's water resistant X 2 phone and case!

Sucks. Sorry. but this didn't last more than 2 weeks and broke in pieces. at first it looks like it is sturdy my husband was super happy with it, but then the front part of the screen is like plastic and just pops off. I would like recommendations if anyone out there has any on a really genuine honest working water case.

Did not test if it is actually waterproof but this case is very flimsy. The door for the charger port snapped off and the plastic base cracked. I went through two of these in a month. For a better quality case, get an Otterbox. If you want to take pictures underwater, just get a waterproof camera. I wouldn't risk breaking a $600 phone but if you want to...

The case worked well. I tripped and fell into the ocean with the phone in my pocket! When I came out of the water and checked the phone it was dry and suffered no damage. That is what I hoped for and expected when it was purchased. Good value for the price.
