Make the most of your practices and small jams with the Acoustic G20 combo amp, part of the Lead Guitar Series. With 20W of power pushing a 10" speaker, the G20 delivers bold sound with plenty of volume. Its two channels cover a world of tones, allowing you to explore different styles with ease. Powerful tone-shaping comes courtesy of a 3-band EQ with Mid Shift, and an aux. input lets you practice by playing along with tunes on your MP3 or CD player, plus there's a headphone out for late-night jamming.

Great Amp !!!
A no non-sense guitar amp and I've had them all. Loud enough for anything and high quality sound for a mic. Light and portable too !! You could always add FX later. Most of the FX which you won't keep anyway after you try them

Great Amp!
Great inexpensive amp with a deep sound. I bought it for my son. My husband who is a professional guitar player checked it out and thought it was a pretty good amp. My son loves it!

Nice amp for money.

Excellent
Perfect practice amp. My only nit-picky complaint is that it doesn't have reverb...but I knew that before buying it. Great value, great sound.

Pretty Surprised!
First of all, I bought the amp used, it's a couple years old. There are times when I don't want to break out the Old Marshall stack, or the Boogie combo, so I always like to have a small practice amp easily available for testing guitars, and pickup set ups. The G20 gives a more well rounded and accurate sound than any of the other little practice amps I keep around. It produces a much better bottom, and is quieter than A Frontman 15G, 10G, Mustang, or the G-DEC Junior. The Fender amps do have their specific good qualities, but for a clean accurate output, the G20 does better. The G20 doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the G-DEC amps, but it is much closer to the sound that I get out of my tube amps. If you are looking more for sound, than effects, the G20 does a better job. Each have their advantages, but for what I use the G20 for, the others just can't match. Hope this helps.

Hidden treasure of amps
I bought this for a small beater practice amp. Something I can toss in the back of the truck or use on the back patio at times. I have a Fender Champion 100 2x12 and Bugera V22 tube amp. Neither get moved much or used outside.Firstly, is it as good as amps 3 times its price? Of course not! Are you going to get the tonal ranges of a digital modeling amp? NO! What you do get is a great no frills solid built, solid state amp for the price. Cabinet, switches, knobs, grill cover, handle are all as good or better than a lot of amps out there. Controls are simple, easy to use and understand. Clean channel is surprisingly good for its price point. Unfortunately, the G20 doesn’t have reverb, but the mid-shift is a nice feature. The con is the dirty channel. It’s not anything to brag about. If your into high gain metal this ain’t for you unless you’re going to add effects later. If you’re looking for a simple amp with a good clean channel and built like a tank. For the price the G20 is hard to beat. Especially when you catch it on sale at GC for $50

Disappointing
Based on the online reviews, and the history of the company, I got this amp. On the positive side, the amp is simple and straightforward. It has a decent amount of power for a practice amp. On the downside, it hissed the minute I plugged in a cable. Attaching the cable to the guitar muted the hiss slightly, but this hiss was just as unacceptable. Also, the gain channel was pretty much useless--you get either no gain or a ridiculous amount of gain, nothing in between.I returned it and got a Fender Mustang 1 v2, and am happier. My suggestion is to save your money and get a small tube amp or a digital modeling amp like the Fender.
