I use these for so many things. Most fall apart and I can't get them back together, these have lasted since last summer. Can't imagine life without them.

If they are stainless steel, they are not a very sturdy type. It feels more like a thin plastic rather than a metal. I think they will serve the intent to keep clothes hanging on a clothes drying rack, but handled wrong by an adult or a child, I feel the mechanism would break easily.

I've started trying to hang my clothes outside to dry to help reduce electricity consumption and lengthen the life of my clothes. (Dryers are really hard on fabrics, if you didn't know, and you don't need dryer sheets if you're sun-drying, which leaves clothes smelling wonderful.) I've got a nice clothes rack (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BTBJ8J9/) that fits on my small patio and holds a lot, but the little plastic clips that came with it soon broke.These clips not only hold clothes on the 1" round bars, they also clip to the square sides of the drying rack so they're out of the way until I need them. Although it remains to be seen how much the inner spring mechanism will rust when exposed to the elements, the coil is strong and should not fail for a very long time. Because the parts of the clip that touch my clothing are stainless steel, I am not expecting this to be an issue. I can use them for stuff in the garden as well. I'm quite pleased with them.

Great, i use them for my Laundry when i put my washed clothes outside to dry on a big rack.. These aren't heavy Duty Clips but they are sturdy and i hang wet jeans, shirts, socks, Blankets (dog blankets assorted size) which i hang over the rack hanging by the clips... They work great and there are probably many different uses they can be used for, I cant remember which of these are but i bought two different sizes, one small and one set large... I have been using the small for everything.
