Disney Planes: Fire & Rescue Muir Train Transporter

Ok, so it feels cheap, the plastic isn't as nice of a quality as say, the haulers and Macs from cars movies.. but it's cute, big, holds 5-6 cars, although I think my toddler shoves them in. Opens from one spot, no ramp, nice colors, front train detaches from caboose. Special toy, my toddler adores it.

My kids love playing with this train! They tend to be rough on their toys and this is no exception. It has been dropped and thrown on the tile floor more times than I can count but everything is still intact. Originally I thought some of the little pieces on the engine would break off easily but I have been pleasantly surprised that nothing has. The kids love opening the doors and putting their hot wheels cars inside. The engine and car attach easily allowing young ones to hook them together on their own.

This is an all plastic train accessory for Disney/Pixar Planes Fire & Rescue diecast models.The locomotive has no tender so its really only half a locomotive.The graphics are just stickers. When the train arrived one sticker was already peeling off and won't stay down. Soon it will be torn off.Double doors slide open on one side of the passenger coach and it is possible to put smaller models inside. (They will roll around inside as there's nothing to hold their wheels.)The passenger coach ships with both couplers tucked into the body. It doesn't say so on the package, but if you loosen the screws on the bottom of each coupler (Phillips) you can pull them to their out position and then tighten the screws again. After drawing out the coupler the locomotive can turn relative to the coach and if you had more coaches you should be able to couple them together to form a longer train.

I purchased this toy for my train *obsessed* 3 year old. For the most part this is a great toy. You'll be hard pressed to find a train of similar size, details, and quality at this price point (speaking as a mom who has bought her son over 100 of various types of trains). My son has dropped it dozens of times on hard floor and nothing has broken off or dented, which speaks well of the toy's durability.Despite this, there are a couple of cons worth mentioning. While the train itself is made of a durable plastic material, the body of the train is covered in sticker decals. These stickers began peeling on the first very day, and in fact some of the stickers were lifting at the corners before we even unboxed it. While this might not be a big deal for some, my toddler throws epic world ending tantrums when he spies a sticker peeling or bending, thinking his toy is "broken." The train's eyes are especially prone to peeling.The other major con is that only the front 2 wheels spin. The other 4 wheels cannot move. This makes it difficult and awkward to roll/push the train during play.All in all this a neat toy for any train loving kiddo. If your kid's expectations aren't too high, they'll most certainly get a lot of enjoyment out of this very neat looking steam train.

Three year old train obsessed approved !!My son love this train. He fits as many cars as he can in it and takes off.Mommy likes the quality and size. I totally recommend

You would think for the low price, that this would be a piece of cheap junk, but I was very surprised when it arrived. Great quality and very durable. My destructive 2 year old loves it and has yet to break anything on it. I would buy this and other toys from the product line in the future

So cute, I might have to borrow it to put under the Christmas tree. A cute addition for the Planes movie fan and any child that likes trains.Has room to carry other planes characters in the pull car

This toy is not designed very well and broke after my child played with it for a few hours. He has many other train toys that have held up to years of play. I would recommend you avoid this one.

La locomotora tiene ruedas abajo (el mecanismo de metal del tren es ficticio de plástico fijo).Buena calidad de consttucción, enganche fácil y resistente

It's perfectly sized for little children and can fit the diecast pixar cars which is why I brought it, really well made for saying it's plastic!I love it so my little one definetly will be made up with it as he loves trains and cars at the moment so it's a perfect combination of both! Definitely a good buy for little girls or boys who love cars and trains! The price was perfect too as it wasn't too expensive
