I bought this as I have intolerances and love lemon curd but couldn’t have shop bought. I stumbled across this and checked ingredients. It is so nice it creamy and lemony what more could you want. I’m going to try the orange next have recommended to family and friends although dearer than shop bought it’s well worth it

This orange curd butter is buttery as you would expect, but I did expect it to be a little more orangey and tangy as well. I used it to fill a Victoria sponge. In future I think I would buy the straight forward orange curd.

The product itself was delicious and l really enjoyed it. The butteryness was obvious, and orange flavour fairly mild although the tang was there. However the jar, whilst being very well presented, was a nuisance towards the end. Being a square jar, some of the curd was lodged in the corners and the jar was too deep. A shorter, wider and circular jar would have been better….l know this from many years of having lemon curd and getting ever last drop out.

I can't really rate this highly, it's not about the content as such, but there is a really odd and bitter after-taste. I love lemon curd, but this one really doesn't sit well with me, I don't know what it is exactly, but it's just .... odd.You have to use a lot to taste it on toast, which is silly since it's so thick that on a couple of slices it's half a jar gone. I won't be buying it again, I'm not really keen and I think I actually prefer the store bought stuff ( Which is shocking I know ) but I tried, it's just not for me. Honesty is the best policy, and I really didn't like writing this. There is never a returns on food items, so I'll spare that whole thing and just state I can't buy this again, It's really not for me.Best of luckI'm actually really really upset lol Jeez I really expected It to blow my mind :( High expectations I guess.

If you like lemon curd you will love this! I’ve had 3 jars so far, it’s the best lemon curd I’ve ever tasted!
