They could not fix my item, so they paid me the purchase price. I'm out the sales tax and cost of the warranty, and have no buy another item. Cleaver. Wish they would just replace the item. That would save us all money.

Purchased Asurion extended warranty through amazon for playstation 5 console.Controller broken and cannot get warranty service through Asurion. So far only a complete run-around.First told item was under sony warranty, which it is not. Then told claim was approved and return label would be provided in 24 hours. 5 days later no label. Next told warranty would have to be re-filed and label would be sent in 2 hours. Again, no label provided.Per Asurion warranty Amazon listing:"EASY CLAIMS PROCESS: File a claim anytime online or by phone. Most claims approved within minutes. If we can’t repair it, we’ll send you an Amazon e-gift card for the purchase price of your covered product or replace it."Where is the service, where is the label? Where is the Amazon gift card for a replacement controller?Asurion has provided NOTHING. No warranty has not been provided at all, just a complete run-around that results in nothing being resolved. I've now filed a Better Business Bureau complaint to try to get the warranty service I paid for. COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. You will NOT get any warranty from this company. They will only take your money and give you a non-stop run around.UPDATEAfter having to file a better business bureau complaint against Asurion, they finally provided a label to send the controller back. It has now been weeks, but i still have no working controller. This is all over a $69 accessory, i cant imagine dealing with them over a several hundred or thousand dollar item.

I could not believe it. I thought I would have to jump through hoops to get my cameras working again. To my surprise after I filed my claim, I got a reply back instantly. When I ordered my new cameras, the balance was .00. All I had to do was to send my old system back with a prepaid shipping label. I usually don't buy a protection plan but with a 499.99 purchase something told me that's a lot of money you had better get this protection. So glad I did.
