Before I tell you how great this diffuser is, I need you to know that I have done my research. I sought a powerful diffuser strong enough to scent three open, connected rooms. I want the scent to greet you when you walk in the door and keep tickling your nostrils as you walk all the way through my kitchen and into the living room.I started out with the URPower cube-shaped 700ml machine. I loved the LED lights so much that lights became a requirement for all diffusers that should come later. I realized early on with that one that 5-10 drops of oil would not suffice. I was able to get a good scent going in all the rooms with 25 drops of oil. This was a powerful machine, and I was very pleased with it up until its death less than one year after purchasing it.After that, I bought and quickly returned a Homasy. It was a waste of money, because you could not even smell much unless you were standing close to the machine. The LED lights were lackluster as well.I recently purchased this 1000ml URPower round diffuser, because I wanted to be able to run the machine for even longer without refilling it. Plus, I wanted to try a different shape, and the remote control feature. I always thought maybe the other machine was defective because it required so many drops of oil. Then, with this one I had to use even more oil- 30-45 droplets. Now, I understand that the more water you have in your tank, the more oil is required to have a scent that carries. I love this machine, because i can smell the oil outside my front door before I even get into the apartment. Also, the flow of mist is much stronger. I think I am able to actually experience the therapeutic benefits of the oils now.The lights are just as wonderful on this URPower as on the cube one. However, I don’t care for the round shape or the remote control. Edges would help in gripping the top and bottom of the diffuser when you need to open it. I struggle a little, and am always worried I will slosh water out. And, the remote control only works when you are close to the machine. In addition, the buttons on the machine are too sensitive. You barely touch them and they adjust some setting you didn’t want to change.Overall, this is really the best machine out there in terms of scenting a large space for a long period of time. And, the lights are a bonus.Please do your research and figure out what you want before you purchase a diffuser. I mean, who wants to buy a machine for every room? That’s a waste of money and it tells you you bought a product that is ineffective for your needs. The only situation where this diffuser might not be for you is if the aesthetics are your main reason for the purchase. The primary function of the URPower is as a humidifier and for its therapeutic effects. It's not really meant to add to the room decor.

I recommend this item. Here’s why:With most of my purchases, I tend to over-research everything. I conducted about 30 hours of research on humidifiers and diffusers, the difference between them, the cons about each, and why to get one over the other.I’m pleasantly surprised with this unit and would highly recommend it if you:- want a great volume of mist in a compact unit- want to go longer between refilling it due to the larger capacity- don’t want to buy a humidifier because there’s too much research to do and there are too many parts to clean with a humidifier- want the ability to use essential oils in it (haven’t done this with the unit yet, but plan to)What I love:- This puts out quite a bit of mist! I would almost compare this with one of my heavy duty humidifiers. It puts out a TON of mist and doesn’t get the area wet nearby (including nightstands, carpet, etc)- The colors are a nice touch for ambience- Ability to adjust the mist volume/amount- LARGE capacity for a small unit like this! It’s 6x the capacity of my Zaq ultransmit diffuser (that I love to much but truly needed something with a larger capacity)- easy to clean- ability to direct the mist by turning the top lidWhat could be better:- The buttons aren’t intuitive and do not make sense for what they mean, and what I need to do. These could be made much better by a few modifications on the design. This is not a big deal because the unit works very well, just annoying.- I wish the running light would completely turn off at night time so I can sleep in pitch black. I’ll have to open it up and disable the light because you can’t put tape over it to block it out completely.
