Lunaire Women's Plus-Size Versailles Soft-Cup Bra

For the most part, I am pleased with this bra. It offers lots of support without wire, I love the wide straps, and it's comfortable. After checking several websites and using their bra fit calculators and formulae, it became obvious to me that when measuring bra size, I was entering into a murky sea of inconsistency. Not only did each of these various calculators and formulae come up with a different size for me, but when I ordered the same size bra from three different manufacturers (using the size recommended by a major bra manufacturer's online calculator), each one fit differently-- and none of them correctly. I had ordered them all from a plus-size website, and had to return them all.However, I liked this Lunaire Versailles Seamless Bra, so when I went to re-order in a different size, I looked for it on Amazon and, sure enough, found it for $10 less per bra than I had paid on the other website! Plus free Prime shipping.With this bra, the size I originally ordered was too tight in the band, but too big in the cup. I added an extra two inches to the band and went down a cup size when I re-ordered from Amazon. I ordered one in each color. The cup size seems okay, but the band is still tight, so I ordered a pack of bra extenders rather than return the whole shipment.I took off one star because I do think that overall the band on this bra runs tight, considering I had to add 2 extra inches to my calculated band size and it was STILL tight. And since there was no manufacturer-specific sizing or measuring information in the listing (Amazon just offers a generic sizing chart, cautioning "sizes can vary between brands"), I was offered little in the way of help from the manufacturer in choosing the correct size.But if you can find your correct fit, it's a well-made, comfortable, smooth-looking bra.

First, you should know that I am a big fan of Lunaire's bras and panties. Great quality and pretty details at a good price point, what's not to like? I'm a curvy girl with a hard to find bra size of 36DDD. I am told by the bra ladies at the department stores that they would never guess this is my size based on my overall appearance. This is because my breast tissue extends back under my arm. I find it very annoying to wear a bra in which the cup is too small to accommodate this tissue. Combined with this side tissue I am narrow across my back so normally up sizing to a large band size results in a sloppy fit that rides up and provides little to know uplift and support in the front. In the past, my purchases from Lunaire in 36DDD have always been spot on with fit. Great lift and comfortable fit. NOT this bra. If you are considering ordering this bra, please know that it runs small. In my size, the band is too small and the cup is also too small. It's a tight fit all the way around. I was going to return it, but then decided to keep it for use as a sports bra (which are also hard to find in my size). It fits exactly like a sport bra! Very snug, even on the last hook, and holds the my girls in place for Zumba! So while I can not wear this bra for day to day wear, I'm going to use it for a sports bra and I think it will work nicely for that purpose. Now to determine what size I need for comfortable day-to-day wear.....hmmm?Normally, I rate most Lunaire products 5 stars. So I'll deduct 1 star for small cup, deduct 1 star for small band.

I have purchase this item before from a store and I thought it was a good fit then. This new bra has more support under the band and it make me look like I have an underwire bra on. Great Bra. Wish they had more colors

Overall comfortable

I have been searching for what seems like eons for the perfect fit NO WIRE Bra and this is it. I am a 32DD, which is nearly impossible to find, especially in a wireless bra. Great uplift and support as well as side supports, which is important in a bra like this. So many companies out there just don't even make a 32DD. Listen up Bra manufacturers, not every gal who wears a DD cup is a 34 or 36 width. So many stores seem to carry this size in such a limited amount that they are always gone. I have not worn this brand before, but I am a believer. Just ordered 2 more. Wish it came in other colors, as nude and white (which shows under most light tees) seem to be the most popular. Would love a black or some other fun color. Very well made. I will trying their underwire bras for that time when nothing else will do, but I have had it with all the stiffness and poking of these "No Poke" underwires out there. So, if you are thinking about this, go for it. Great fit for us full figures gals. Nice height in the middle without being so high it sticks out of most shirts. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! And it shipped right out, kudos for the shipper.

It says plus size and means it. Usually I can’t let the straps out enough to be comfortable but this one does. I’m thrilled that is does not dig into the shoulders and give me a neck ache and shoulder ache. I’m so glad to have this brand!

I am so happy with bra, I really wish I had come across it sooner in life! I am very large chested- 34H, and I have struggled to find comfortable bras my whole life. This bra is my night time go to bra. I sleep in it every night. I hate sleeping bra less- and now with this bra I wear Pjs and nightgowns, and not only do I sleep great, I look great. It’s true to size and I no longer have to worry about only sleeping in something that has the shelf bra within it. I actually forget I’m wearing a bra sometimes. My other go to brand is Panache, and now that I have the Lunaire bra, I’m very happy and comfortable. It is the perfect lounge bra, offers great support, and is very flattering. I’m ordering one in every color for sure.

I bought this bra in a specialty lingerie store locally 3 weeks ago. I loved it so much that I looked for a second one on Amazon from the actual manufacturer. I ordered the exact same size as the one I purchased in store. As you can tell from the pictures the one Amazon sent is at least three band sizes too small. They're both a 42G. I'm a little confused as to why the tags are completely different as well. The one I purchased in store is an actual sewn in tag as shown in the picture, the one I received from Amazon is like a paper tag that you can rip out. Order at your own risk, you may not get the size you actually need. Obviously sending back for a refund

I liked the style (not too transparent, but just enough, I liked the wider straps). The only down comment is the band...because it is narrow it tightens the skin and it gets somehow a bit uncomfortable.

It’s hard to find a bra that checks all the boxes, especially a wire-free bra....well this bra is awesome. Great support. Beautiful colour. Very feminine. Size 34DD is an excellent fit!

Love this product. Have ordered this same style for years, and am thankful for the natural form and support it provides. Also thankful that even though it is difficult to get in stores, I can still get on Amazon!
