My F5 installed in my Bell helmet just fine. It syncs with my Samsung S5 perfectly
My F5 installed in my Bell helmet just fine. It syncs with my Samsung S5 perfectly. I can make and receive calls very easily. People on the other sie can hear me clearly even while riding with a lot of wind around the helmet. The battery life is excellent and it tells you the state of charge when powering up which is handy. I haven't had a chance to test the range so I cant comment on that. All in all I am very happy with this product.

Prefer over Scala
We bought these to replace the Scala G9. The sound quality of the G9 was excellent, but the devices kept breaker. Finally, the battery swelled up and Scala said they could not repair it. After much research, we opted to try the interphone. The device has fewer buttons and is much easier to navigate with full finger gloves. The only complaint I would have is the microphone used for open face helmets leaves a little to be desires. It tends to flip, so you get a lot of wind noise. With a full face helmet, you would not have this problem.

No music streaming with BMW (Garmin)
Disappointing that music streaming no longer works.I used the F5XT with my BMW navigator V (which is a Garmin unit) and this worked well. I upgraded from the F5XT to the F5MC due to the new "anycom" feature, but with the F5MC the music streaming no longer works. I can control the next track, previous track, etc but there is no sound.Interphone are aware of this but cannot say when a fix will be available. I have been pestering them for some months. What is strange is that it worked on the previous unit.

Not recommended.
We have four of these radios. They are used for talking to my kids on our sidecar motorcycle. Also they are used to hear GPS directions, and occasionally take a cell call. I am not impressed. One big disappointment that is not clear from the product description is that you cannot conference 3 or 4 radios and use a cell or GPS. You may only speak with only one rider if you wish to also use a cell phone or GPS. There is frequent radio interference (noise) between the radios (they are a few feet apart mind you - not a 100 yards apart on separate bikes). One unit the battery failed to take a charge and was replaced under warranty. The radios do not reliably connect to a new Garmin GPS, nor to a cell phone. Sometimes the connect, sometimes they don't. The radios need occasional repairing with themselves and the GPS/phone. For us the battery life is far less than advertised (4-5 hours max ride time with intercom on - note this is not talking 4-5 hours but merely with the intercom on 4-5 hours). These radios are loaded with current firmware R1.06 and were purchased from Revzilla. On the plus side, when working, they are loud enough, and the kids love them. I would not recommend them, especially for the price.

Love these, a bit confusing to use at first ...
Love these, a bit confusing to use at first but they work great...No more cords. But you do lose the ability to use OEM stock connections to your Radio, CB unless you connect it via bluetooth.

no sound during audio streaming when paired to a BMW Motorrad Navigator-V (made by Garmin) even though my older F5XT works fine.
I am having the very same problem as the previous reviewer, no sound during audio streaming when paired to a BMW Motorrad Navigator-V (made by Garmin) even though my older F5XT works fine.So now it's October and no still no fix.*UPDATE* After the latest firmware updates for the F5MC the unit now performs just fine with the BMW Nav-V unit.
