I have been looking for a folding stool for urban sketching that is compact, lightweight and comfortable. After trying at least half a dozen stools, this one is hands down my favourite. It is lightweight but not the lightest one that I have found. It is compact but also not the most compact that I have found. However, it is absolutely the most comfortable by a long shot. I can sit on it for hours comfortably. That was the most important criteria for me.As a note, the stool that was more compact and lightweight fits in my everyday purse. The drawback is that it is so uncomfortable that I can't sit on it for more than 15 minutes without going numb from a pinched nerve in my leg. It just not an option for me.If you don't need the absolute smallest option, consider this stool. It is very affordable, very sturdy and extremely comfortable. It fits easily in a carry-on bag. As a note, position the stool in a diamond formation under you. Then the corners will not rub the underside of your leg.

I bought this little stool for my son to prop his leg up on during class at school following knee surgery. It worked great. Folded up easily so he could carry it from class to class.

Do not recommend for all my tall peeps out there, I'm 6ft 3in and I basically have to fall into the chair lol very good quality chair though, does the job and easy to transport.

This is perfect just what I was looking for!!!!My father didn't need anymore furniture, and loves his non reclining chair, but doc said he needs his feet up.....I should also mention he has a new puppy that is amazing at destroying things...lol! But this is perfect! It really is light weight, that coming from a disabled person with serious breathing problems, and it really just folds up almost as easy as just picking it up....and slims right down to a very small size.It is a nice height for his chair because it measures the same as the seat, so it gives a really good lift.The puppy hasn't tried to do anything awful to it yet either....not that there is alot that this dog could distroy on it. Very durable! And the corners where the weight & tension wears on the material after time all reinforced. I am really impressed with it. It comes with a little sack to put it in when you arent using it, too.I just wanted something he could quickly pick up & move out of his way, that wouldn't take up too much space & was puppy proof....ish....well so far...lol. This was it! And it is nice looking I thought I was really asking alot, but thank you for making this product available to us especially for the price.Oh the puppy does think it is his bed now....I may have to order another...lol

Put your feet up after a long hike or just chilling at the beach. Light and easy to setup.

Ordering this stool, out of the many offered on Amazon, was a leap of faith. The risk paid off. I can’t tell you how many times I have used this handy seat. Folded, it’s small, light and easy to carry using the handle attached to its case. Unfolded, It’s surprisingly sturdy and extends my ability to garden outdoors. A minor complaint is that the corner attachments of the seat can come loose and so should be tightened periodically. A caveat is that, as indicated in the specs, the stool sits low to the ground. But at 5-foot-2, I’m happy to use a low seat.

This stool is tiny - too tiny for comfort. Sure, its easy to fold up, seems sturdy & very lightweight but if you want to sit on this you will laugh and or be disappointed.
