Awsome red headlamp.
I've got to tell you, I've become quite a fan of Zebralight products starting with the H51w. I liked it so much that I now carry an SC62w everywhere I go (the perfect EDC light IMO) and my H600fw Mii in my bag. I've recently started cycling again and I have been use interface my SC62w as a headlight and it works great for that, and an H51r in blinky mode or the rear. I figured that the H502r would be even better for this as it is a pure food lamp with a huge viewing angle so that it could be seen within a much larger angle with no hotspot that may blind drivers. It works great for this! If a car can't see me from behind, that driver is blind. I also use it on low as a night light. It will come in handy this summer for camping as a close range headlamp for outside stuff. I use red lights sometimes outdoors in the summer as they don't attract bugs at all right up in my face. Don't mistake this red headlamp for others that include a couple of those red 5mm LED's. Those aren't even in the same ballpark for even red output.I really don't know how they could make this a better product short of making it a H602r version that took 18650 batteries. I'd by one of those in a second if they made one.Anyway, if you haven't given Zebralight a try, you are really missing out as they make some extremely useful, high quality lights.

Small but bright
It's a lot smaller than I expected but for doing night work it's great. I haven't run it long enough to determine battery life so I'm being on the safe side and doing 4 stars. I actually expect it to be just fine.

Amazing headlamp if your a huge fan of red light.
One of the best headlamp on the market. I’m a big fan of the only red light as I prefer such for night camping, backpacking and every day activities. Amazing lumens for the size and extremely light. This goes with me everywhere. It’s part of my EDC. Just a note that the red light is not for everyone.

which allows it to be located easily in a dark room or tent
Runs forever on one AA battery. Bright, or dim, as you need it. Very even lighting over a large area. The "reflector" in this is not a reflector, but is glow-in-the-dark plastic, which allows it to be located easily in a dark room or tent.

Get a great battery!
Very strong red lens. You must use high quality batteries, though. It makes a huge difference here. Spend a couple extra $ on the best batteries and this really works great.

Best head lamp
Brightest head lamp I've ever owned. Very small and compact. Only requires 1 AA battery. The only downfall is that it's only red lense.
