Martinellis, Spices Mulling Organic, 20 Fl Oz (Pack of 6)

These are my favorite! I use them to make spiced cider and spiced bourbon every holiday. I would you I’d give more stars if I could. Perfect spice blend and so easy to use!!

This stuff transforms the flavour of normal apple juice into a cinnamon/clove sensation that really is fantastic. Its much better to add the spice bags and then slow heat the juice rather than just adding the bags to cold juice. My buddy put me onto this saying how great it was and it turned out to be true. Although this brand is the most expensive, I went with the Martinellis because they make the best apple juice. Next time I will try the cheaper brands for the spices to compare taste quality.

Love to steep these mulling spices in warm apple cider. Purchased for the first time for much less at a discount store. Now, this is the only place I can find them (at twice the price), but I love the convenience of popping a sachet in a mug of cold cider and simply microwaving it for a minute or two.

In my family, wassail is a winter holiday tradition. We use cranberry apple juice, orange, cinnamon, cloves, and sometimes allspice, and making it takes a crock pot and at least twelve hours. Well, hot apple juice and one of these bags makes something that tastes almost identical (given almost identical ingredients) in only about fifteen minutes (I don't think the recommended five minutes gives it much taste). The long version will remain the holiday staple, but now I can have a lovely hot drink before bed without the hassle. One that's more than the water and chemical flavoring I used to use.

I used this to make a variety of mead called Metheglyn. I took a quart of boiling water and steeped 3 of the bags till the water cooled off, then used the resulting tea to brew mead. It was excellent.

Box was smashed to pieces when received, but none of the packets were broken. These spices do not taste fake like some do. I looked everywhere for spices to make, but happy I chose these. Very easy. I put a liter of cabernet in a crockpot, 6 packets of spices, turned on low for an hour. Perfect!

These individual bags perfectly add mulling spice to a cup of hot apple cider. I like the taste as well as traditional, loose mulling spice. This is much easier to use.

The winter holidays were approaching and I usually purchase mulling spices to add to hot apple cider. The brand I had previously bought was not available so I purchased Martinelli's. The taste was different from the other brand but it was excellent. Robust and warming Also, Martinelli's mulling spices come in a teabag form and that made it simpler to brew a single serving or two. I thought these mulling spices were more expensive but I thoroughly enjoyed them nonetheless.Yes, I would recommend them and I would buy them again.
