All good and well made except for the hard plastic tip on the cane end. I agree with the reviewer who said it slips on any hard surface- totally true. It's not safe to use as a cane unless the tip is covered or replaced with rubber. I have emailed the company to ask for advice.

I love this cane stool (it's not a chair) and was surprised at how comfortable it is, even for up to an hour. The stool folds easily each time it used secured by a substantial Velcro strap. And it's light so easy to carry or use as a cane. I am a male, 5' 6" and 185 lbs. with serious degeneration of the spine. This device exceeds my expectations in every way but I would not recommend this for people much heavier than me. You may want to replace the tip with a standard rubber tip to use this as a cane, thus only 4 stars.

I hesitated taking the folding chair on a trip to a convention, but LOVED it walking through the huge exhibits. When I needed a break, it was right there. The shoulder strap also freed up my hands when walking. Everyone else was totally exhausted, with no chairs in the exhibit hall!!

A good product. 4 legs are much better than 3.

I have been wanting to get regular exercise for a while. I live a farm with a gravel drive. It is 1/4 mi long and rises 100 feet in elevation so walking down and back up is a real work out. I use 2 canes, This on and my regular one, I take a break half way on each trip. While I am down at the barn I give the 2 mini-horses each a carrot. Give some banana peels or corn cobs to the 3 goats. We also just get 5 new chicks and we have then in the barn so I sit a bit and let them eat out of my hand. My 83 year old uncle walks with my

Takes a little practice to sit down and stand up from this if you have any mobility challenges as I do (lower back and hip pain), but once I got the hang of it, what a GREAT help this is for a break on long walks or outdoor gatherings! Friends have also used it and found it comfortable and strong. Light enough to use as a cane. Mine will be going many places with me!!

I ordered this cane chair to attend a large event where standing in line was lengthy. As long as you're UNDER the weight limit (225 lbs), it was perfect; plenty sturdy. Everyone around me thought that the chair was the greatest thing since "sliced bread!" It folded easily and provided nice support as a cane. Shoulder strap made it easy to carry. The foot for the "cane" part was made of plastic--very slippery on a tile floor; I removed it and put a rubber tip on instead; problem solved! And because it IS a cane, this item will go through strict check-ins (airports, ball games, concerts, etc.)
