Q: do i need to change filter? i just bought the unit less than 2 months ago and the led indicator turns red.

Pull the faucet light out, pull the battery & place back in, reinstall the light. Should flash blue again. 2 of the Filters replace in 6 months the one filter every 2 years.

Q: Where are the filters from? What country?

Made in Korea, surprisingly, where many top named kitchen appliances are manufact

Q: I received new replacement filters. Is the date at the bottom of the new box the born on date or the expiration date?

The date on the filters themselves is the manufacture date. The life of our filters is 5 years if stored in the proper conditions and sealed.

Q: The qr codes on the replacement filters are invalid. does this mean i got a fake one?

Did not check the use of QR code. I just replaced the old filters with new filters.
