Dibucaine Ointment 1% USP, Anesthetic Hemorrhoids Ointment - 1 oz (PACK OF 3)

This is good for pain relief best on the market!

I have used Nupercainal for years, but it hasn't been available the last couple of years. This Dibucaine is the generic, and I feel fortunate to have found it. It's hard to find in pharmacies - CVS used to carry it regularly, but I haven't seen it there in months. Personally I feel like the Nupercainal works better, but this is the next best thing.

I suffer from IBS, as a million other do, and this cuts the healing time to a minimum because it has antibiotic in its makeup which other creams do not. I was so afraid I would not be able to find it again I bought enough to last a long time. I tell others in myfamily who suffer from this. It is a g-dsend.

After they stopped making Nupercainal, I panicked!!!! I read all info on similar ointments and chose the Dibucaine. It works PERFECTLY and seems to be the same as the other............only problem was, the tubes are much smaller than the Nupercainal tubes. Price was good.until I compared ounces!!! All n' all, I was extremely pleased and will continue to order.

I wanted to try Dibucaine. I'd used it after the birth of my 1st child w/success. It was the same, but I realized that another product I'd been using, but had a hard x finding was actually much better. Sorry, didn't mean to be oblique. The product I use for this purpose is Dr. Sheffield's Hemorrhoid Ointment. I was disappointed that I couldn't find an Amazon source for it. I had to order a case through their rep:[...]Hope that clarifies the matter.

this is a wonderful ointment. works as directed and offers fast relief from the feedback i received.i would highly recommend this item as i purchased it for a disabled friend,and was told it works great.

I remember years ago, a product like this for hemorrhoids that actually worked. So it is possible. But this product is not it and was worthless. Do not waste your money. Add a fiber drink 2-3 times a day, like Metamucil, Clear and Natural(without all of those sugars, artificial sweeteners in them) , plenty of water and exercise and they will clear up on there on.Till then a hot bath works better than this product.

Previously, I utilized the product  Nupercainal Hemorrhoidal & Anesthetic Ointment-2, oz.  for rectal issues but that product is no longer available. I have ordered this product and used it, and found that it is a satisfactory, if not perfect, replacement. This product does not have the same ingredients structure, and therefore does not have the ointment type of properties found in the previous product. This does cool and is soothing, but it is almost like a hard gel and it can be difficult to get it from the tube to the area of use. Since the other product is not currently being manufactured, then I would recommend this as a replacement.
