Martha Stewart Home Office with Avery Blue Shagreen Classic Smooth Finish Standard Binder, 1" Gap-free Rings

I returned this product. It had damage on the corners (the plastic-like coating had torn and there were holes on the corners.) I do not think this product would hold up in a back pack or with everyday use.

Item arrived with dirty spots on the cover despite being wrapped in plastic, it also had a strange yellow stain on the inside. It functions fine, and looks better now that I cleaned it, but for the price I paid, it should have been in better condition. It was advertised as "New" and maybe it is, but it honestly looks like it was returned, reshelved, and resold.

I was searching for a recipe book that looked better than the average binder. Sometimes I misjudge a product online vs in person reactions...Pros: Indeed better looking than the average binder & the binder rings work great.Cons: Lighter than I imagined & the lining inside is fabric; scared of scuffing, staining, or how dirt will settle on this binder! This also has a *VERY LARGE* footprint! Looked into the cost of returning... let's just say... I should've been more prudent.

I'm completely addicted to Martha Stewart's Home Office products so this isn't my first binder, just my first big 3-ring. It's exactly the same as her smaller binders (I also have her 8 x 5") - a smooth faux leather-ish on the outside, a nice matching matte fabric on the inside. The pockets hold quite a bit. I've stuffed five of those mini Post-It tab dispensers in one pocket and had room to spare for a dozen pens. They get stretched out if you leave things in there for a while though - I learned that with my smaller binder.If you're only looking for a binder to do a job, this is a slight extravagance. If you're looking for something that does a great job and is pretty, this is a great choice. It doesn't hurt that there are all sorts of matching pretty goodies.Just to add something weird - if you have a Kindle DX, there's a cover that exactly matches this (Aqua iPearl mCover Leather Folio Case). I bought my Kindle cover first and was amazed when I saw it next to a binder.

This is pretty, but since I did not see this in person before ordering it, I thought it would be a padded smooth cover, giving it more of a luxury look to it. It is not. However it is a very nice shade of blue and will work great for the Home Binder I am creating. Glad I didn't pay retail price for it though, as it is just a pretty colored, run of the mill binder with the Martha Stewart name attached to it.

It is amazing! It is so cute and it great for average school life. All basic binder organization tools fit inside, although it is a tad larger than most binders. BEWARE: If your binder goes through a lot, such as dirt encounters or scratches, this binder may not be the best suit for you. It has a softer material, so it can go through daily wear and tear but not extensively. But if need a great average binder that is cute, definitely recommend.

- Product came shipped with scuffs and dirt marks all over, including a little on the inside. I was able to remove the marks on the outside with a bit of soap and water (and some bleach..) but the inside (fabric) was another story.- For the future I am worried about this product getting coffee or pen stained, as it doesn't seem resilient to every day "wear and tear". Might be returning for that reason alone.- The smooth finish seems to be rubbing off of the corners already, and I've only had it one day.- The color is also slightly LIGHTER than what is pictured. It seems very pale in comparison.- On the bright side, it has a "one touch" opening/closing mechanism that is great & I wish all binders included something similar.

Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect binder. Sturdy and a fantastic color!
