Extremely reliable work boots that fit my big feet!
I’ve had these boots for almost a year and I plan on ordering another pair in July. They have been the best boots by far that I’ve used on the job. The wide toe box makes them extremely comfortable for my bigger foot. I work in utility locating and I’ve been through muddy fields, construction sites, and all over chemical and manufacturing plants with them with zero issues. I always use my own inserts in boots but other than that, they have out preformed all other brands of boots I’ve owned. They have stayed completely dry in wet and muddy conditions and have never ripped or fallen apart like other boots I’ve purchased. Genuinely have been the best boots I’ve ever owned. Will continue to wear them and plan to buy another pair because my company reimburses me every year for a new pair.Would recommend them for anyone needing a reliable and comfortable pair of boots that will last for years to come.

Very comfortable
These Keen boots fit great. They are very comfortable and no issues at all. I have bought Keen boots in the past and will again in the future.

Nice boots, but "wide" should be wider.
Fit:I bought size 12 wide - about my normal shoe size. The ball of the foot area feels a bit narrow and tight. The toe box is adequate in width, though I wouldn't call it roomy. The length is OK. The footbed comfort feels pretty decent so far. I don't know how they will hold up, but they feel reasonably well-made on day 1. Another 1/4-inch of width in the ball of the foot area would have improved these boots a lot.

4 months in and very pleased!
I have had these boots for over 4 months now. The work I do calls for 3 weeks straight of 10 hour days and includes things like breaking pavement, shoveling rock and mud, pouring concrete both into small pads and hauling buckets of it to fill and dome off big steel bollards. Needless to say, it's strenuous on the feet and also extremely hard on clothes and shoes. Cheap boots get hard on the feet after a few hours and low quality leather does not stand up to the work. All in all, these have been an excellent work boot. I have always really liked the comfort and utility of hiking style boots and these are really the best of both worlds.Pros:-First and foremost, the steel toes. They have an asymetrical design, as in each toe cap is molded to fit either left or right. This is a MAJOR improvement in comfort and general utility over the usual standard shaped toe cap that's in most boots.-On that note. SUPER comfortable right out of the box. No break in period whatsoever. As I mentioned I work very long days on my feet and the comfort provided by these has been a huge deal.-Design: both the tread pattern and the waterproofing are on point, zero complaints.CONS:-The laces. They honestly suck so bad that I ended up replacing them with another brand. Would not stay tied during work and ended up just fraying. I honestly want to subtract a star for it but I'm otherwise happy so I won't. But if you get these and plan on using them heavily just plan on replacing the laces. All in all these are great and I will definitely be buying Keen work boots again for as long as I need steel toed boots.

Not lasting quality
I originally left these shoes a 5 star review because they felt very comfortable and worked well for a couple months when I did landscaping, but I decided to update my review with this:For a while, I was a pretty big fan of Keens. My whole family was wearing them, but in one way or another, inferior quality has lead to a lot of our shoes kicking the bucket way too early. I've owned about 3 pair of Keen Utility Lansing Mids and all of them had issues in the sole. I used them for work and after about 3-4 months, large bulges began to form in the sole, becoming extremely uncomfortable and causing blisters on my feet. The photo above shows where I marked the shape and size of the bulge in red. I reached out to Keen repeatedly about this problem, but every Keen Lansing I owned did the same thing, and eventually the service team at Keen decided they were not going to stand behind their product anymore and essentially fired me as a customer. In the end, it worked out. Keen is just not right for people who actually use their shoes for their intended purpose, and it's better to not get your expectations high about them and if you want good quality, look elsewhere. I've gotten multiple pair of their hiking boots for my son, and they're just built so poorly and fall apart after a couple months. When I consult about this issue at many shoe stores, all the feedback I get is the same, and their warranty/return rate is very high. It's the same across the board.
