Ibex Merino Wool Women's Balance Sport Bra

I am a 34C, so usually a medium, but I tried on both the medium and large in a store, (because I know the ibex panties run small) and I decided on ordering the large. (Sorry store, it was a better deal here.) The medium was tighter in the band and straps but did not provide any more support. In fact because it was tight, the material dug in and I could feel the slight itchiness of the wool. The large was supportive and kept my boobs in a nice shape. The band and straps were snug and stayed in place. I barely felt the wool texture, I think I will easily get used to it. I was very impressed with how breathable it felt in the underboob area! Not like synthetic bras.It is a stretchy compression bra, so it does not support bouncing and will probably not hide nipples, but I think it will be very nice for camping and backpacking, and feels a lot like a slightly hardier version of my favorite sleep bra, so I plan to sleep in it because sometimes it's too annoying to change my bra in the tent, especially if it's cold out.UPDATE: I really like this bra. Very comfortable, not itchy. I always take it backpacking now!

This is my favorite sports bra. I am not sure it is supportive enough for running but I wear it cycling (both mountain and road) and it is always comfortable. It is a great low impact bra.It fits a bit more normal as far as sizing than the balance light bra that I also love. I am pretty small but like the girls to be held tight (34-36 AA) so I ordered and kept a small. It doesn't feel overly snug like some bras can.The merino wool is perfect for keeping the moisture off your skin. I wore this bra for 6 out of 8 days of the Absa Cape Epic in South Africa and continued washing it out and hanging it to dry between stages. It was always dry and stink free within a few hours and kept me comfortable and dry in the races. No more cold chest from a sweaty bra!

I could give this product 5 stars: It is supportive, comfortable, fit as expected, and light. Also, the material is really, really good. Unfortunately, since there is no padding, it didn't covered my nipples. The bra is made of wool (lightweight?), but not thick enough. I wore it under a T-shirt and a blouse. I wanted it too much, but too bad I had to return. For this price, I need a perfect bra. Hope Ibex is reading these reviews.

too binding even though measurements were right

I am 5'9", 155 lbs, 36B, ordered a size Medium. I have become a sports bra snob. This bra has been awesome. I looked like it would be insanely tight when I took it out of the package, but the fit is great. The wool is soft, not scratchy. I have worn it for several workouts without washing, and it doesn't smell. I washed it and hung-dried it, and it bounced back to great shape. I can see myself eventually replacing my synthetic bras for this one.

I was a bit skeptical about a merino bra but I needed something versatile for a hiking trip that could also work when in town. It washed easily and dried quickly. Comfortable! No smells! No chafing! No itching! Soft and just the right amount of snugness. I will by more and hope they continue making them since they are better than most of my sports bras.

I'm a 34D and I got a Large. The bra fits really great and it is super comfortable! It doesn't even get uncomfortable when I start sweating. I was worried it would be tight based on it's shape, but it's not. My only complaint is that my nipples show through very obviously. I will likely be buying another one. It's my favorite bra for outdoor activities. Especially in the winter.

I loved the under pant briefs so much, I decided to give the top a try, and boy am I happy! It is a little tighter than expected, but fits still very comfortably. I measure a 36B/34C depending on brand and style. I got this style specifically because I needed more support for the activities I do, and I will be buying 2 more as my old polyester sport bras wear out.
