Lightweight workhorse for my Sony with monitor shoot setup
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This aluminum tripod was purchased so I could have a safe and stable tripod for my Sony mirrorless and accessories. I have previously used low cost plastic tripods for using just my smartphone or cameras with a small 35-50mm lens. I attempted to weight these cheap tripods with sand bags and velcro but it works still tip if I added a flash or longer heavier lens. The GooFoto is my camera setup Game Changer without the expensive price of the man foto series. I can lash this to my photo backpack or use the included carrying case with shoulder handle. The adapter that is included holds my iPhone 7 Plus and the head can hold my rig bar to hold so much weight. I loaded up the tripod with an external monitor, large high powered flash and my Sony with a 18-105 large powered lens. The weight hook along with ball flat rubber feet keeps the tripod in place and allows for a smooth pen using the head.

Solid tripod!
This tripod is solid built for my Nikon D7500.It comes with plastic bag cover which fits everything nicely. The set up is easy, I spend 5’ the first time to read manual and completed set-up. It will be less time consuming next time for sure. The tripod can extend really high. It also have adapter for a mobile phone. The adjuster knob for height and rotation feels little bit plasticky and fragile but I don’t have the problem so far.For its value, it is very competitive pricing. I applied $5 off on the Amazon web that turns out $32 in total. I would recommend to give it a try.

Good for the price
I like how adjustable it is, and that it comes with an adapter to use for your phone as well. The small size portability and extreme lightweight factor make it even better for packing around, but the one thing I will say is I HIGHLY recommend having something heavier (like your camera bag) to hang on the bracket on the bottom in order to help stabilize it more than without it. I was using with a large telephoto lens at night for some shots of the moon and without having something to stabilize it, it moved enough to notice. Multiway adjustment make it perfect for all types of shots too.

Basic tripod good; extras problematic
The basic tripod is quite adequate for most amateur efforts. Various releases and other controls appear to be well made and durable. Good stability with the bracing. Know I will appreciate the quick-release lever. However, the phone holder is only 3.5" wide, not adjustable; unless you have an old, small iPhone or similarly sized phone, it won't work. Too, the remote control mechanism comes with no instructions for pairing with your camera or phone.

Almost lasted a year... Update
Update: Amazon did send me a replacement for free. I could not locate the seller information so I went through the amazon chat customer service. Easy and fast!Purchased this tripod in May of 2020. Using it regularly teaching my classes and recording video for my YouTube channels. Unfortunately, some plastic bits inside snapped this morning (March 2021). Hopefully we can get a replacement. With exception to this break, its a sturdy little thing! I do enjoy the foot grips and slightly thicker frame than some other tripods I've tried.

Works perfect for Sony A5100
If you was looking for a good durable weighty camera mount for either outdoors or to use to live stream that actually fits the Sony A5100 camera then look no further because this is the stand you need and want. Also wanted to note that the mount is of heavy metal material on the legs and only a plastic piece where the actual mount is so overall perfect build quality if your worried about breaking something.

Stability and Light Weight
I purchased this tripod to use while traveling since my other tripod is heavier and larger. I am happy with its weight, stability, and sturdiness, but haven't really put it through its paces on birding or other nature excursions. The camera attachment system is very easy and reliable and I like having the additional attachment for a phone.

Good value but pay attention
So the camera has everything an aspiring photographer could want, including a few features I wasnt expecting like adjustable feet. The legs are a lightweight aluminum but the rest of it is light plastic. There are metal screw holes where needed, adding much needed durability in key places, and the entire thing functions well. However, it is at best a weekend warrior tool and not intended for any long camping treks. I could see some of the plastic pieces getting damaged if handled too roughly.Id say a weekend hiking getaway, urban photography or family fun time is ideal for this product but I wouldnt go much past that. For me personally, it suits my needs perfectly and the cost was just right.

Nice tripod for a beginner for my Canon M50
This is my first tripod so take this commment as comming from a beginner. It has a good combination of sturdiness and light weigt. It also fits in my backpack so i do not have to carry it separetly (it comes with a bag that you can hang on your shoulder). It allows you to shoot from any position begining at 48 cms from the floor. I have only tried it at home but i am not expecting any bad suprise when shooting outdoors. So far pretty happy with it.

Great Tripod for Stills. Good for video too
This Tripod is great in most respects, and certainly a good value. Instead of highlighting the many pluses, which are normal and required in any good tripod, I will highlight two drawbacks I found. If the features below are important for you, the tripod may not be perfect.1. There is no real quick-release mechanism; you have to loosen a hand-screw, which takes a few seconds. However, that leads to a sturdy mount that you can depend on.2. Ball head mount allows smooth harizontal panning along the mount, which is useful for video. However, vertical movement is through the ball, which is not smooth. Hence, the camera may not be optimum for some videographers. For me, these two features did not matter, therefore the 5 stars.

Amazing tripod!
Save yourself though: When you buy this awesome tripod, if you use it with a phone, be careful taking the phone out of the holding clip. I snagged the skin on my finger when it snapped back into place (The holding clip extends just by pulling it, not with a button or anything, so if your phone is larger than the base size it has to extend out a bit on rails. No biggie, just handle with care. All in all, great build quality, I'm happy that it works with both my camera and with my phone. So I'm buying a second one so that I can have multiple angles for my productions. Great price, extends out to a great height, awesome maneuverability. Totally worth the buy.

Upgraded
I had a very simple cheap tripod and updated for this one so my camera could sit portrait style as we as landscape. I’ve only used it once but it was a huge improvement. I actually felt like my camera was safe. And it folds down nicely into its little carry bag.
