I love bare minerals! With a new teen who is starting to be more aware of her skin care and make up, I wanted to purchase products for her that were good to her skin and that she could use with ease. She is thrilled with the kit! The product is lightweight so she doesn't look made up nor does she have that heavy feeling that some face make ups leave you with. The colors blend perfectly with her skin tone, we went with medium as she is a mixture of Japanese and white, she has a pretty olive tint to her skin which blends nice with the medium kit shades. The primer is such a better alternative to cover up make up as it doe snot clog pores or weigh her skin down. An added bonus in the kit was two high quality make up brushes. We are building her make up collection carefully, ensuring that the products are appropriate for her age and good for her skin. You really cannot go wrong with bare minerals. As a woman in my forties, I prefer the product over others as well. The flawless look and subtle glow the products leave on your face gives you a light and pretty feeling all day. Recommend to anyone in search of quality make up and make up that is worth the money. Amazon provides a convenient way to purchase the items as well, and doing research...I discovered that it was actually cheaper than buying direct from bare minerals. Research pays off!

I'm not sure how this could be considered the 30 day starter pack when the box barely holds a few products. The box doesn't even say its a starter pack, it appears to be a sample box. I went to Ulta and found the right product, which includes more items for the same price.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY purchasing this product. Also, I was giving this item as a gift for an exchange and the box looked like someone had kicked it around for hours and was badly beat up. Not sure if this is normal or something that happened during processing.

Not worth the price. I thought this would've been a full size starter kit to replace what I am out of but it's little tiny portions and little tiny brushes. I have paid as much for this as I have for a full size starter kit. This is basically a sample.

I bought this to try it out. I have olive skin and the color match is ok. The coverage I get isn't great but, maybe that's a technique problem on my part-I'm new to bare minierals. It does appear natrural on my skin. I don't see the "dewy glow" they refer to in the ads though. I've appled the make-up with and without the primer...I don't see a difference either way to be honest. My biggest complaint is that it doesn't seem to last a whole work day (mind you I do work 12 hr shifts) but, even after 8 hrs I feel like there is a difference and I'd like to see it last longer, especially after using a primer and following all of the application steps.

I swear by BareMineral products! Living with acne prone skin, it isn't always easy to find makeup that will cover the blemishes without making them worse. This make-up line is my savior and answer to flawless skin. With even concealing and long lasting coverage, I could never live without my BareMinerals. I love this 30-day starter pack because it comes with everything you need for your everyday makeup. And to be honest, it always lasts me more than 30 days. I love it so much! You HAVE to try!

Good set for the value. The powders are pretty small. It will really last you about one month depending on how much coverage you want. I have cystic acne and the product does not cover the acne all the way. It is a very good product though. Very natural looking and light on the skin. I recommend that you get color matched before buying the product. All stores which carry bare mineral makeup should color match you for free. sephora even gives you a free mini makeover. No appointment needed. I like that this set comes with 2 brushes. They are small but the perfect size to stick in the purse or travel. I would buy this product again. I recommend it to people who have never tried this kind of makeup and as a travel size on the go makeup.

I love the makeup. I knew that it would be a small trial size, so that did not surprise me. I only need a tiny bit of powder each day, so it should make it through the month. I suggest for people to watch some demos on how to use it. One Youtube video stated that using it correctly means using a tiny bit of powder and a lot of buffing with the brush to have it absorb into the skin. This will make it last all day. I agree that only a small amount is needed and it lasts all day. The only problem is that the brush is falling apart.Note: I thought about skipping the primer at first, but it is wonderful. It makes my skin really smooth before the powder goes on.

I ordered this set with high expectations and was not disappointed. In fact on halloween my cousin and i were prepping for a party and when i pulled out my brush set she loved it and couldn't believe how little i paid for it. I got all 12 brushes. My co worker ordered her set immediately after mine arrived.
