A SOLID Spear gun
Great for most spear fishing but dont let your alligator eyes overload you mouse rear end if you spear and 80 AJ with it, expect to be dragged to the bottom ... seriously. But for you average fresh and dalt water fish this is a great speargun, specially for the money. Start with 5 to 10 pounders and work your way up to learn your limits

Spear Tether Interferes with Safety Activation/Engagement
This spear gun works fine until you attach the tether to it. I used a standard speargun mono-filament line to it with standard spear gun crimps. But, for some reason adding the tether to it interferes with the safety engaging. If you keep inserting the spear and removing it, eventually the safety will engage and the spear will work normally. But, this is a highly inconvenient defect. Moreover, if the safety does not engage, DO NOT load the band because it will not fire and you will need to manually unload the band on the spear (which is hard to do!). DANGEROUS DEFECT.

Moderately built.
This in itself is a basic harpoon it's sturdy as far as the actual gun goes but the bolts that go with it are a little flimsy seems to be okay definitely want to have some strong stomach muscles when you pull that back to arm it or some kind of padding on your stomach.

Great fun but beware!
Great affordable gun.Just beware of the sketchy wishbone, or the attachment piece to the rubber band to spear, is extremely sketchy you can replace it for a more study price of metal so you won’t lose a finger.

Wast of money
I bought this harpoon for my husband. He always wanted one so I bought this one but we didn’t like that it didn’t have a safety lock. He engaged it while we were at home and his finger rubbed against the trigger and it shot right out. It not safe especially if you have kids around. The bands on it are too short and the metal pole is too thick in diameter. You can’t catch small fish with this harpoon unless you completely destroy the fish in half. He had a good laughs trying to catch a fish (which we never cought one at all). We enjoyed the show but this harpoon is mostly a wast of money if you actually want to catch a fish.
