Home sweet Home for your X200
Got this for an X200, and it works quite nicely. 2 things to note -- you can't dock a notebook with the 63 watthour battery on it. The dock has accommodations for the batteries that extend beyond the back, but not ones that are taller than the X200 unit. You can still use it to charge the larger batteries using the rather odd little fold out battery connector. The 8 cell 43R9257 battery fits with no problems (available elsewhere here on Amazon). The other thing to note is that this unite does NOT use the same optical drives as the T6x (and similar) series, or the large Ultrabay dock. They are the same size, but use a different connector. I had a spare that I was hoping to use, but no luck.All in all, it's a very competent dock.

Great response time!
I received this product in just a few days after ordering and it works perfectly with my older Lenovo. Now, one of co-workers is also going through Amazom to find a replacement docking station for her Lenovo!

Compatibility list is incorrect - This dock will not work with X220 or X230 Thinkpads
Description currenty displaying for this item is totally incorrect. This docking station will not fit any of the models stated. Not sure how that happened but it almost seems like it's a description for a totally different docking station. To bad I have to return because I was really excited about using this.Description shows it's compatible with WX230, X230t, X220, X220t, X230, X230t. This docking station does not fit any of those models.

Adds a lot of functionality to the PC. And it's brand new and way less expensive than buying it for the manufacturer

pretty intuitive.
allows use of two monitors simultaneously, though with different connections (VGA and "DisplayPort to DVI"). Snaps to laptop, pretty intuitive.

I wish I would have read the negative reviews before purchasing this, because the X220 series is indeed not compatible with this dock. I have a X230t, and it was not compatible. The seller really needs to update their compatibility list, because this is for the X200 only...
