I read reviews for all of the best rated backup camera systems and this one had the best overall comments. I order it and got it in 2 days and I installed it immediately on a Mazda CX-9. The wiring was not as hard as I thought it would be, but the back hatchback I had to remove the inside panel and it took about 30 minutes (found a YouTube video). The backup camera itself is not wide-angle enough because the backup line themselves are not even close to accurate. They could be if the camera is more wide angle/zoomed-out more. I have not called support yet, but I will soon when I have time. I don’t see any settings to zoom out, there seems to be only pan up/down. The camera can only see things about 3 feet from the bumper, when the camera is pointed down, the. Can only see backwards maybe 6 feet. My other car came with a built in camera and it’s very wide and can see from the bumper and out 100 feet or so.Anyhow, the whole system is pretty excellent. I think I may have to replace the back camera to get the camera to see a wider view.

I purchased this unit for my Can-Am Maverick X3 side by side which has ZERO visibility for using the rear view mirror. So I thought the video camera would be a handy thing to have. Well...... I must say that the power cord is a cigarette lighter which I did not want to use so I could keep my port open open on my rig for charging my tablet or cell phone. One word of warning, do not wire directly to the 12V wiring harness because the mirror functions on 5V - hence why it is powered through the cigarette lighter plug which reduces the voltage from 12V to 5V. So.... after I picked up a 12V to 5V power converter all was well. Camera is very crisp and clear, functions are straight forward and very pleased with the performance of this item. I am not much on writing reviews but this one was worth it!

This camera is actually made by a separate Chinese company that Lenovo bought and put their name on it. I was kind of disappointed in that. The daytime recording is clear, and you can drag up and down the screen to see the full view since you get to just see what fits in the mirror. I like that. Records automatically with key on. Has a motion sensor for collision detection, even when the car is off. Internal power hold enough energy too record 30 seconds after sensor activates.Comes with a 32 GB memory card inside the mirror. This Lenovo backup mirror dash cam has certainly impressed me. It's unlike a regular dash cam that just runs all the time - this one works more like a DVR. You have control over the recording. You can press a button on the mirror's screen to stop or start recording, take a photo, etc. It's very easy to operate unlike other dash cams I've used. It has all the usual stuff like parking and G sensors you want with a dash cam but it has something the others do not - a backup camera. The size of the screen is larger than normal run of the mill dashcams. This has a wide and very clear view. In my video you can see the front camera working in both day and night. The file size has been reduced so you are not seeing the actual video as made by the camera.

Setup is relatively easy. The use of touch screen makes switching between front and rear cameras very easy to use. But the screen is barely usable. It's supposed to work as a mirror when display is off, and work as a display when it's on. For some reason, the screen is not measuring up for both use cases:- when display is off, it works as a rear view mirror, but objects are vibrating / shaking vertically- when display is on, even at max brightness, it's not bright enough to overcome / suppress the mirror imageIn my situation, only the recording function is usable.Also, the front camera needs to be pulled out from the body to work. But it gets in the way of the sun vizor. Perhaps the next version should have the sensor coming out from the top, or bottom.

Decent DVR/Dash cam. For the price the product could be a lot better. I received mine damaged but it was replaced by the next day. It only gives 3 minutes intervals of recording and if you go longer than a day without turning on your car, the time could be off. The touch screen is not always responsive. I bought this item for my wife's car. I have one by roav and it's way better and around the same price. Mine doesn't have the rear camera but the feature and quality are way better. Overall it's a decent device. You can find better ones for the price though.

It is different from ordinary dashcam. It has many special functions that make me feel it is very useful.You can record, you can take pictures and so on and there are a lot of really nice features.It is also very simple to operate and easy to use.It has all the other features of a normal recorder, and it's just perfect.You can see it very clearly on the screen.This product is really amazing and I love it.

I honestly did not like it as much. The vision at night was not so good as well as the amount of things the camera allows you to see. I could barely move the camera itself to be able to have it record the angle I wanted it to.
