Well built and attractive. Using this as a jewelry chest, works great! Popped some felt lined dividers into it that I found at JoAnn Fabrics and tadah! Can't stand the fake wood or fake leather jewelry boxes that never last or seem to have enough room. This one has the perfect dimensions for me. The drawers slide nicely and the overall quality is spot on. I love industrial stuff and utilizing things for something other than they might have originally been intended. I like that I can put stuff on top, like my galvanized pipe bracelet T-bar holder and a small Buddha. The steel surface is great for a few decorative magnets as well. Very happy with this purchase.

BE CAREFUL.There is hardware available to attach the back strap to the base to stop it from tipping. USE IT.Mine had 2 bolts, but no straps. I assume they are metal? I'm not sure if the straps were supposed to come with the box or if they are a separate order item, but mine had none with it. I had to fabricate a couple myself after nearly tipping the entire top section off loaded with tools.These Viper boxes have no drawer safety mechanism to prevent front load transfer (where only one drawer can be opened at a time), so BE CAREFUL. Don't attempt to load heavy items in the top drawers. I had to clean mine out and put heavier items in another toolbox because this one cannot handle a fully loaded top to bottom setup with all hand tools.Came with some matching color drawer mats and the drawer rails are pretty good considering what these cost.

Huge body given its super shallow drawers, anything wider than an old -fashioned strap oil-filter wrench will NOT fit in this drawer. On the plus side, the Viper series of tool-boxes are the best! We own over 20 tool boxes of all different makes, and only the Viper had the heaviest build. However if your concerned with color and you have been getting your tools from the big RED or BLACK toolbox makers out there, then these boxes are NOT for you; but if you can see past the color of its skin and appreciate the build, durability and US based customer service, then VIPER will prove to outlast any box. The downside of buying any heavy item from an on-liine source is delivery. The boxes are so-heavy they are often handled/delivered by a 'best-bid' truck freight forwarder. We had delivery drama with every tool box delivered to our shops, minor exception was this small middle drawer Viper Box reviewed here. Delivery is riddled with mind-blowing (unfathomable is this modern era) issues, i.e., clueless dispatchers, delayed delivery, and we were often extorted to paying additional fees (docking fee), and get this, be available for receiving the item on weekends or after hours simply because that is when the driver was coming through our town; furthermore, every toolbox delivery, regardless of source or make, had to go to our body shop for repair before assembly. If you do NOT have the patience to endure US trucking drama, nor do you look forward to banging out bent corners or straitening drawer rails, then there is a drama-less option available from the showroom floors of your favorite home-store.

I have the top chest and wanted a few more drawers. I use it for bike repair and wanted something that I could carry from site to site. Its has top quality drawers and pulls. You can feel a big difference between this and most Craftsmen boxes.The description says it comes with 2 side handles, which is wrong. It comes as the picture shows. It does have pre-cut drawer liners as does the top chest.All in all exactly what I expected. Im sure this is the last tool box I'll ever buy. It was delivered in 2 days via Amazon Prime and was in perfect condition.

I am very please with the Viper's 2 drawer tool box, the seller took very great care sending my box dent free. The special packaging worked great, my tool box is big and heavy for shipping. I am glad that I didn't pick another brand of tool boxes. I maybe buying the rest of the many types of Viper's tool boxes, if they come on sale. I will buy again in the near future from this seller again.

Really well made, great overall value, only complaint is that the when you put the top drawer chest on it, it then has a lot of useless space and takes up more room then necessary making it rather tall on top of a rolling cart. Overall extremely pleased.

Outstanding box, bought it for knife collection, added some Kaizen foam to the drawers, great quality, bought to more cause the price was down to 52 dollars for the 2 drawer box. Very nice locks, great slide action on the drawers.. Much higher quality than others in this price range even at full retail. Shipped well to, packed great, tight no chance for damage...

I bought this unit after two failed attempts to get an undented Kodiak delivered. Viper's packaging solved the problem. Of course, the box isn't impervious to assault but, in my case, it did the trick.The drawer slides are smooth. The finish quality is nice. All and all, it's a nice looking and nicely functional chest.
