I had a set of Wiley X XL-1 safety glasses/goggles, but I lost them one night and got these Peltor Maxim 2X2 glasses/goggles as a replacement. I thought I was giving up something by getting this much less expensive replacement, but actually I like these better. I like the way the strap and temple tips attach and swap on the Pelors much better than the Wiley X set up it replaced. These Peltor glasses offer the same protection as the Wiley X ones, and are every bit as comfortable.

My hat size is XL, and to say these are uncomfortable would be an understatement; they press painfully against my facial bones. No amount of tightening or loosening the elastic band worked (well, other than so loose they didn't seal). The goggles themselves are not built for this someone with an extra large head and hence, extra large face. So much for one size fits all. Don't buy these unless you have a small(er) head.

This is my second pair of Peltor Maxim 2X2 Air Seal Safety Glasses. Use one pair with the clear the other with gray lense. Simple and functional. I prefer using with the temples and Chums eyewear retainers rather than the included headband. Wear for work as well as cruising on the Harleys.

These goggles offer fantastic protection, but are still light, comfortable, and, dare I say, slightly stylish... I wear them with the ear pieces when I have ear plugs that go in my ears, but the band that goes around your head is a great solution if you wear ear muffs (which always press glasses stems into my head giving me a headache). I haven't changed the lenses, but I understand it can be a bit difficult.I also can't say enough about the company. These are made by 3M. I had an issue where the Tac Pac glasses they make let a hot bullet casing fall behind my glasses and pinned it to my cheek. I wrote an email to the company and after taking the time to call me and understand what I was using them for they made a few recomendations, then a box showed up on my doorstep with a few of the models they recommended! It's been a long time since I saw a company actually step up and stand behind their product. I'm sold - I love that I got mine for free (only cost me a scar on my cheek) but definitely worth the price!

I have owned a pair of these goggles since they first came out. Throughly impressed and happy with them. I have used then in law enforcement, fire service, and riding my motorcycle. They do not fog easily and do an excellent job keeping wind and debris away from my eyes. I prefer the headband over the stems. I have purchased other goggles over the past several years and none are as good as these.
