The power brick is smaller than the original tablet's, which is fantastic for being mobile. It doesn't get as hot as the original either.The cord is a bit shorter than the original, but is still plenty long enough unless you're trying to string it across a room. The connection between the power cord and the adapter block is also a bit wiggly and doesn't push in 100% firm, but that's a nit-pick; I've never had it fall or pull out.Overall, a very solid product.

I always take care of my electronics and I bought this HP Compaq TC4200 about a year ago. It came with a dock and another power charger for when the device is in tablet mode. Anyway the part of the wire that connects the laptop to the Power Supply some how disconnected from the charger and exposed the wire. I tried fixing it but it got to the point where it was just a paper weight. I ordered this product and it is way better than the stock one that isnt working any more, even the area that I was worried about looks and feels sturdier than the original. This is definitely worth buying if you need a replacement or back-up just in case the original decides to destroy itself.

Better than I thought! Vi bought a universal adapter and it was ten times the price and did not work to well. This one is for this particular lap top and it works. Works perfectly. Way cheaper and I am very satisfied.
