PCA SKIN Peptide Lip Therapy - Softening and Hydrating Lip Moisturizer, Minimizes the Appearance of Lip Lines (0.3 oz)

My lips are constantly peeling during the winter. They look like snakes shedding their skin. I bite them and pick at them and then they bleed. Nothing has worked before now. I decided to order the PCA Skin Peptide Lip Therapy because my son has had really good results with some of their acne stuff. I started using the lip therapy as soon as it arrived. The consistency didn't feel any different than the Blistex that I normally use. There was a slight tingle, but not much. I didn't buy it for plumping as I have very full lips, but I really don't think it was meant for that. It says to use twice a day. I used it about 5 times the first couple of days and after the first couple of times of using it, I started alternating with my Blistex because I actually felt like my lips were wrinkling without additional moisture. About 20 minutes after applying, my lips start to feel like there is some kind of coating on them like when a face mask dries. Applying some other lip ointment gets rid of this feeling. My top lip was baby bottom smooth within 24 hours. My bottom lip took about 72 hours to lose all the peeling skin and feel soft. I can't believe it! I haven't had smooth lips in the winter ever! Now I am using it once in the morning and again at night with Blistex in between and my lips are staying smooth. It really does work, but not all on it's own which is why it's 4 stars instead of 5. Now when I kiss my husband, I don't have to worry that my lips feel like sandpaper.

I have been using this twice daily for over two months. It has definitely improved dry and chapped lips and reduced my reliance (addiction) on my Burts Bee's Lip Balm. I'm not sure my 65 year old lips have seen a reduction in fine lines, however, I certainly have seen a huge reduction in dry, chapped lips and perhaps a slight plumping of my lips. Initially, I was tending to use more than twice daily then re-read the direction to not do this and found it works far better to use in the am and pm. I'm not sure if all of these ingredients are non-toxic, though it looks like they are?

This is the ONLY product I have found that was able to heal my lips. I've tried every brand in the drugstore (carmex, baby lips, miracle lips, banana boat, vaseline, soft lips), the ultra expensive brand coola, super-goop, sugar, rodan & fields....no lie I have probably spent $250 trying to find something to keep my lips free of flakes & peeling. I live in the desert & play a lot of tennis outdoors (I do use sunblock...super-goop is good. No chemical taste!) and my lips have been constantly chapped this summer. I bought this product from my aesthetician ($25/tube...rip-off no doubt, but that tells you how desperate I'd become!). After about 5 days, my lips were back to normal. I instantly went to my one-stop shopping site (amazon, of course!) and bought 4 more tubes. I now have my girlfriends hooked on it as well. Even at $10 or $16, it's worth it!!

Like that my lips has began to feel soft and moist. I wear it every night and wake up with beautiful lips.

It's a very small tube for the cost. It doesn't take a lot, though. For the price, I hope that it lasts a fairly long time, as I only use it 2xs a day.I don't notice any "line minimizing" effects, but it seems to make my lips soft.

I use this before bed at night, to moisturize my lips and hopefully keep them healthy. You certainly could use it throughout the day; I don’t, because I’m usually wearing a moisturizing lipstick, and I don’t feel lip makeup “plays well” with the lip therapy consistency. It’s similar to applying vasoline, in that a small amount goes a long way.I’m 43, and while my lips aren’t particularly dry, I want to be proactive and take care of them. I notice that my lipstick is wearing more smoothly after about 2-3 weeks of using this, which is a bonus!

Great product. Only been using a few days but can already tell a difference. I had my lips tattooed and ever since they seem to be drier. I am daily constantly putting Auquphor Lip Balm on them but it seems to not last. I noticed this product has staying power. It stays on and feels great. So happy to have found it! It feels creamy and my lips already feel soft and moist, especially at night when sleeping. Will definitely continue to be be part of my beauty regimen! Also you get what you pay for...so it’s worth a few dollars more than regular products.

I haven't noticed any difference. It isn't any different than other lip products that promise things they can't deliver.

Arrived quickly enough however, found the product grainy. Didn't think that's what it should feel like but, I chalked it up to being on the shelves for too long.
