Disappointingly short-lived
I'm incredibly disappointed in these. I fell in love with them the first time I put them on (four months ago), but they began to fall apart after only a few weeks. First, the neoprene somehow came free of the stitching along the sides. I continued to wear them because they still offered some support (some is better than none) and I was determined to get my money's worth out of them. The neoprene itself eventually began to fail, resulting in a tear that now runs the entire width of the side section of one sleeve and a couple of smaller tears in the other.Accounting for the holidays and some time spent recovering from illness, these sleeves have seen only three months of use. With an average of three one-hour workouts per week, this comes out to about 36 hours of use. The price tag was $44.98 (before tax), so that's $1.25 per workout. I've had cheapo boxing gloves that lived more than twice as long as these sleeves despite significantly heavier use and abuse. The only reason these sleeves get two stars instead of one is because they really do work wonders - when they're not falling apart, that is.

Fell apart in a few months
I was very happy with the knee sleeves until they completely fell apart in February. I contacted customer service and they were incredibly kind. They offered a brand new pair, all I needed to provide was the tracking number, which I couldn't because I had ordered them months earlier. I was given a 50% off discount code, which I did not use at the time.I was planning on ordering another pair for a competition I have in September, because while these lasted I loved them. However, when I posted a review very similar to this one on their Facebook page so that people knew to save tracking numbers in case they needed to make future returns it was promptly deleted. That put a pretty bad taste in my mouth because as a paying customer of their product, I feel people should know to 1. Save their tracking numbers because 2. The knee sleeves might fall apart. I guess they feel that their customers do not need to know that.

Will not last more than 2 months.
These are sharp looking knee sleeves. They perform well enough. However they will not last more than a few months. I bought these in July and they were ripped and split by the end of September. The neoprene has torn off at the seams on both sleeves after once a week useage for 2-3 months. I will not buy these again.

Poor fit for me, but know people who love them.
I purchased these knee sleeves a few months ago. After a little over a month, the sleeves started constantly slipping and bunching up during the workouts. I have larger thighs and calfs and based in the sizing guidelines, I purchased a large. They didn’t fit quite right and I’m not sure if they’re too small at the ends or too large around the knee.I decided to reach out to Bear KompleX to see if they could offer any help or assurances buying a pair that fit since I knew a few people at my gym that loved the knee sleeves and didn’t slip on them. They’re suggestion, “try a size down.” Well, as I already spent $50 on a pair that didn’t fit, I didn’t want to risk another $50 on another pair that may/may not fit. They did offer 30% which is generous and fair. I then asked if there was a way I could try a couple pairs to a see which would fit best. Their response, “The sizing of the sleeves is not a guaranteed fit for everyone. Someone may fall into a small size, but actually need a medium. Our company policy for exchanges and refunds states that they cannot be worn in a workout. The best that we can offer you is 30% off of a new pair.”I won’t be purchasing another pair. I found their judgement to be fair but their presentation to be terse and slightly rude. That said, I can’t in good conscience rate them any less than 3 stars bc other than me, I do think people are quite happy with their knee sleeves. Minus 2 stars because it feels lousy to give $50 to a company that gets perturbed you should be satisfied with a product you buy when you’re a fat load. My words, not theirs, it’s just how they made me feel.

They LOOK great, but are only intended to 'last' for 6 months...
I love these knee sleeves. They LOOK great, and when you first put them on they FEEL great. Unfortunately, they fall apart rather swiftly, especially the neoprene (?) inside the sleeves. I got about 3 months out of use out of my first pair, and Bear Komplex replaced the first set (only charging S/H). The second set, again, started to have issues after 3months of use (using them for 1hr/day 4 days/week), however, I neglected to reach out to Bear Komplex. Once I finally did (well after a year of purchase) I was told the life expectancy of these knee sleeves is 6 months (dependent on use), which was sorely disappointing. I can understand a year of use, but only 6 months). I've attached the email where they shared this information.I'm not going to say you SHOULDN'T try these knee sleeves, but be very aware that they seem to be made with failure built in at the 6 month mark.

They’re okay
They’re okay. Aside from them looking bad ass, that’s about it. They don’t form and contour very well. I have major bunch up behind my knee. I use 7mm for straight lifting, little movement on my part. I boutght these Bear Komplex 5mm to use during metcons. Ideally my goal was to use for doing functional movements and me moving around.Single stitching all around. I know it’s going to bust after a while. After a few uses the stitches are stretched from the neoprene. Just putting the machine setting to double stitch would have given an extra star rating. Will I buy them again? No. Will I recommend them? No. Again, they’re okay.
