bartyspares Compatible Lower Duct Repair Split Cut Hose for VAX BLADE HOSE Floor Head Tool Handheld Cordless Vacuum Cleaner

Easy to fit if you have the right tools.
Expensive for what amounts to about 5 inches of hose, but better than paying £50 for a new floorhead. You have to remove a large number of screws (some different so keep them separate). I found it easier to cut away the damaged hose because it is glued into the front mounting. You have to remove all the old glue and damaged hose first. Once that is done it is easy to screw the new hose in (anticlockwise!). Be careful not to trap or damage the motor supply wiring when you reassemble. If you are a competent repairer and have the right tools and a bench/table to work at then this is an easy repair for less than a quarter of the price of a new floorhead.

Fits in 15 minutes. Remove 5 screws, needs a Phillips screw driver and a pair of cutters/pliars
This spare part is much better quality than the manufacturers one and really easy to fit!Once I ignored some of the other buyers comments that gave the impression you had to remove about 12 screws; so basically implying you have to take the whole head apart, I realised its just a case of removing the 5 small screws that hold the red fixture in place. Then pull this out, twist and unscrew the old tube from it. You will then probably need a pair of cutters to shorten it so there's only about an inch sticking out of the head so as to give better access. Grab the wire of the tube still attached to the head with the pliars, twist and unravel/unscrew it. The tube will probably tear as you do it but don't worry. Once it has all come away then simply feed the new tube through and screw it back onto the head, reattach the red fixture and put the 5 screws back. Job done!

Tube good let down by some poor finishing
Lets be honest this is just a piece of tube about 10cm long so you cant go really go too wrong. My 3 stars is for the fact that the only think they need to do is cut this from what i assume is a long tube of this stuff and the cutting on either end of the tube was really rough, i had to clean it up before putting into the hoover. On the process itself like other reviews this is a fiddly job. Requires the removal of a dozen screws and pulling bits and pieces off. There are no instructions with the product so there is some guess work involved although its fairly intuitive. If you dont want to get your hands dirty maybe consider other options otherwise its probably a 45min job all together

Excellent replacement.
I purchased this to repair my Vac Blade where the original tube had split. The only downside was taking the head apart to remove the original tube and insert the new one. Once fitted it does the job perfectly.Compared to the original tube, this product seems to be of much better quality and has greater stretch.

Difficult to Change
Looks good quality part, however instructions minimal and rather than a quick changeover, we found it a difficult process, especially when we found the original pipe had been moulded in. We ended up getting it replaced but found we must have disturbed something in the head as we can no longer switch head off, works even though hoover off. Told seller, they asked for my vax model number but didn't come back.

Replacement hose from bartyspares.
This was a speedy delivery, thankfully. I was extremely pleased with that !!!This piece is easy to fit, even me, a female DIYer in my younger years can do it.The hose feels a better quality than the original. I’m not good at writing reviews, but, all I can say is....If you need it, buy it here.

Fits perfectly to my TBT3V1P2 Blade Ultra
Just like the others pointed out, the Vax has a problem with hose in the brush floor head breaking up in a few spots. This replacement was a perfect fit, and took whole 10 minutes to fit, and that's including the removal of the broken one, as well as cleaning of the dusty mess. Saved me good £45-£50 on a replacement, which is also not the easiest to obtain.

Replacement hose.
Item arrived in good time.Removal of the hose was harder than expected due to glue used in the initial installation. With all the glue removed and parts cleaned. Installation of the replacement hose was simply. No glue required.
