Skip Hop Baby Treetop Friends Crib Mobile, Multi

I love this mobile. Its cute and our baby seems to like it a lot. He stares at it while laying on his crib. He tries to reach for the music box all the time, perhaps because that's where he sees us touching. After winding the music box it lasts a while, perhaps 10 min. At first I thought the music sounded very scratchy and weird, however the baby seems to like it and laughs when it is playing. So, apparently the fact that the music box doesn't perform has one expected appears to be beneficial :-).

I ordered this mobile even after reading the reviews that it might not fit the crib. I have a new standard crib with slats on the side and had no trouble tightening the mobile to fit. It is really, really cute, and the wind-up song goes longer than the mobile I had before. I can't say enough about how cute it is!

As some people mentioned it's not perfectly straight, which means the branch leans toward the little house and the bird looks like a crashing airplane...The bird can be fixed with a few stitches. I consider the hanging branch as natural...It fits our Babyletto crib perfectly and with a few feltstickers it's also a scratch free attachment.The pause button shifts down very easy, so I guess we have to fix it with glue or tape, no need for it anyway with a lullaby that's only playing for as long as a few minutes. I don't understand why they put it there in the first place.Check it out in a store first, so that you know what you're getting and if you like the SkipHopTreetop Friends Theme this is a really cute addition.

This mobile is adorable,super easy to assemble(pieces just click together), and my baby loves the tree top characters. The song is sweet and pleasing to the ear, never annoying. This mobile is something I use to soothe my baby when he is fussy, although it has never put him to sleep. It never fails to capture his attention, and I think he really enjoys it.

This is actually a very cute mobile and would be lovely if either of the 2 I have ordered actually worked. Both the original and the replacement have had defective music boxes- the lullaby sounds more like an out of tune funeral march and is certainly not something I would play to my child. The first was simply out of tune, the second (which this time I sensibly removed from the packing without removing and assembling the whole mobile like I did the first time (I was excited to get it ok!??)) had a defective on/off switch, my husband said- that's ok, we can fix that! so we did, unfortunately we couldn't fix the horrendous noise coming from the barrel now it did work! So we have returned the second mobile as well, in a better condition than it arrived but still not functional! Save your money, buy a different brand.

The mobile is cute, but the music box seems to be either defective or poorly made. After a little over a month of use, the switch that controls the "on" and "off" slips into the "off" position while in use. Sometimes it goes all the way off and other times it slips partially and causes the song to skip or slow down. Additionally the wind up crank seems to get a little stuck or jammed while the music is playing, causing a really annoying clanking sound. Overall, it's adorable and my son really likes it, but it is disappointing that it's breaking after just a little over a month of light use.

My wife ordered the Treetop Friends Crib Mobile to go along with the theme in our nursery. As far as construction and looks go we are satisfied with this product. We had no idea prior to shopping for this mobile just how expensive mobiles can be. This particular mobile features some very attractive and colorful fabrics and what appears to be good quality stitching. The music player is a simple wind-up type that plays music for less than a minute and features only Brahms Lullaby. Again, for the price we weren't expecting much more.This mobile is unfortunately limited primarily by it's very limited clamp. The clamp only accommodates cribs with top rails 2.75 inches or less. Our crib's top rail is a bit larger than 4 inches making the clamp completely useless. We decided to return the entire mobile and just buy something more expensive but fortunately my wife ended up finding an adjustable pressure-clamp that fits our crib at Pottery Barn. We ultimately decided to keep this mobile because it really does fit our decor nicely.I would recommend measuring your crib's top railing to ensure this would fit. All told after buying the mobile plus another clamp we spent around $60.

I loved this mobile when I saw the picture and it went perfectly with my theme so took a chance on it inspite of some reviews. It has been a perfect fit. It fit my babyletto crib. The lullaby is soothing and the volume is perfect. Love it.

My baby loves this mobile. I bought it on the recommendation of 3 other mums in my nct group who all also own it. However, consider your purpose for buying this before adding to basket. I wanted something to lull her to sleep which this certainly does not do! Far too stimulating. Provokes shrieks of joy, chatting and much arm waving. We've had to take it off the cot at night otherwise she starts talking to it in the early hours. Better suited to hanging over a changing station.
