AWESOME! Easy, Small, Pretty, & Cost-Effective! (But Beware of Pairing with a K-Cup Drawer)
So far, I'm madly in love with this Keurig. I decided to take up coffee-drinking, finally, but didn't want to mess with coffee makers and the temptation to buy really expensive coffee at Starbucks, nor did I want a device that took up too much space or would force me to buy 2.0 k-cups. Voilà!I got the Keurig K10 in red, and it's gorgeous. It's a slightly darker red and notably shinier than it appears in the picture, which makes it look classier and more versatile than the seemingly mostly matte finish and brighter red of the picture. I imagine the other colors are probably nicer than they look in the pictures, too. It's also the perfect size. It takes up no more space than my blender (it's slightly deeper, but on a counter, it's mostly wide that counts unless it's really deep, which it isn't).The single-serving water compartment is perfect for me. I use water from my filter pitcher, and it would be a pain to try to fill an entire reservoir for one of the larger Keurigs from a pitcher that takes a while to filter. Instead, I just pour in up to 10 ounces of water, a cup of coffee magically brews for me, and that's that. No hassle at all. For me, because mine is in my kitchen, not having a big water reservoir is a huge plus, because it's not wasting counter space or needing to be filled all the time. Pouring in a tiny bit of water when I need it is really easy. It also seems more sanitary. There's no water just sitting around in there, or reservoir that needs to get cleaned a lot.The 6-cup k-cup variety pack that came with my K10 is also great. It's mostly coffee with one tea (black tea, not green tea) and one hot chocolate, which all seems like a good intro.I'm sure you know this from other reviews or research you've done, but this Keurig is also MUCH better than the Keurig 2.0. Avoid the 2.0! Keurig 2.0 forces you to use Keurig-sanctioned k-cups. As a reviewer I read put it, Keurig got greedy. Be sure to avoid any Keurig 2.0's, and if you're not sure, be sure to look through reviews and questions before buying to make absolutely sure it'll use any and all k-cups. Otherwise, most variety packs you can buy and lots of the k-cup options out there simply won't work int he device. With this Keurig K10 Mini, all k-cups work! And I'm really loving it. This is the best way to get into coffee, no doubt about it! Now, after the initial expense (which wasn't much for a Keurig! I paid $72, almost $20 less than the cheapest Keurig at Target at the time I'm writing this), every cup of coffee I brew will cost me about 50¢. No matter how you swing it, that's awesome. If one has 4 cups of coffee a day, that's only $2 of coffee, and you've saved a minimum of $6 by not going to Starbucks.K-CUP DRAWER WARNING: Be careful if you're looking at k-cup storage options to remember that this is a MINI Keurig. The standard k-cup drawer designs are far, far too wide to fit reasonably under this mini. Be sure to check dimensions before ordering a k-cup drawer! I almost forgot to do so, and that would've been really disappointing (since a huge plus of this mini is how little space it takes up).Happy coffee-drinking!And don't forget to do the first cleansing round like I did (the manual confused me with some bad design [hiding the cleansing caveat in an entirely different section with a different color scheme], and I drank God knows what chemicals with that first cup since it seemed to be telling me to just go ahead and make coffee, then drink it, seeming to specify directly that I should do that rather than clean it).UPDATE: One complaint: There is water sloshing around inside the device that doesn't seem to be getting used up. Somehow water must've gotten into a part of the device it's not supposed to be in...but the only way it could've done that is through the normal channels. Therefore, I am somewhat skeptical about the longevity of this device. The sloshing is highly suspect. There's no way to figure out where the water is without major device surgery. I still recommend it, but I'm prepared to need to replace it within 5 years.

Perfect for 1-2 cup coffee drinkers!
I finally bit the Keurig bullet and got one of these after hearing people at work rave like lunatics about how awesome it was ;) . I'm not much of a coffee drinker but that might change with this little beauty! I have to take the drip tray out for my favorite mug but that's no big deal, this machine is simple to use.-Not sure why other people say it's slow, it's about a 2 minute wait for the water to heat and 15 seconds for it to fill the cup.-Also unsure why some have said it's confusing on how to measure the water level. My particular model has a little stair-step level guide to fill up to and even my 11 yr old has figured it out so she can make her hot chocolate :)-I will say the first three or four cups had a lingering 'burn' taste even after running water through it before first use, but it's gone now (4th day of having it, about 8th cup of coffee/tea).-From what I've seen as well, this model does NOT have the same nitpicky issues the 2.0 larger models do with only allowing certain K-cups to be used. I purchased Crazy Cups coffee samplers and PureJave reusable k-cup filters at the same time and both have worked perfectly.-About the only thing I have concern over is the silver handle on the coffee pod section feels kind of flimsy. I was really leery of pushing it down all the way so it would puncture the K-cup foil, it just feels a little fragile. If someone doesn't know their own strength or is in a rush, I can totally see this thing snapping or cracking.

Perfect single cup machine!
I bought this little mini Keurig because I only like a small cup of coffee every now and then. It has served its purpose well. It has a fill container in the top and you literally pour in as much water as you want to make coffee. I LOVE that. No chooses cup sizes. I can measure it in my own cup and make the exact amount I want. It takes about two minutes to brew and is a perfect temperature. The only thing I didn't like was.. when I got the machine it was in the winter. I went to the store and bought a gallon jug of water. I got home and went to make my first cup by pouring in my water. It took me three hours and a ridiculous amount of frustration and googling to figure out the water just about has to be warm. It was NOT refrigerated.. but just by being out in the 30 degree weather, it was too cold. My house stays very cool in winter, so I had to heat water before the Keurig would read it, every single time. That got really annoying. But now that its warm and summertime, the room tempature water has been fine to use. If you are curious as to why I use a jug, remember you have to use distilled water to prevent calcium. Otherwise, I have loved everything about this machine!

Read the Reviews! Warm is better than cold!
If at first it doesn't work, go back and read the reviews! I received my Mini a few days ago. Excite to come home to the Amazon box I opened it up right away, read the directions and proceeded to do a flush and make my first cup of coffee, even though I don't drink coffee at night this night would be the exception! The directions said best if you use distilled water, which I did. I grabbed a bottled water from the fridge poured in 8 oz, let it drain in, closed everything up and hit brew! Then nothing... it flashed and turned off, I tried it again, flashed and turned off... and again. I gave up and decided to try again tomorrow morning. Next morning it still had the water in it from the night before and again, flashed and turned off. Went about my day came home and tried one last time before returning and it worked. Then I remembered someone said don't put cold water in... which I had and in the morning our kitchen is an ice box so by late afternoon the sun had come in and warmed up the place and the water and it worked. Today is my third day of morning coffee (bought the single brew because my husband doesn't drink coffee) and I have to say... just use warm or at at least not cold water and it works like a dream!
