Replacement Gi Pant Drawstring - Stretchy Rope for BJJ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

I've had these for over a year and love them. I'm writing this review because I came back to this page to order more. I use them for good 'ole sweat pants. Typically, from the store, sweat pants have standard cotton drawstrings (not stretchy). As a big guy, in order to keep sweatpants from sliding down, I need to tie the string so tightly that I can barely breathe. These stretchy Gi drawstrings have just enough stretch in them as to hold up your sweatpants without having to be pulled uncomfortably tight. They are a bit thick and therefore somewhat tricky to feed through the hole and work around the waist. But once they're in, they won't come out in the dryer. TIP: Use the old string (if it's not broken) to pull the new Gi drawstring through. Or buy a "Quick Drawstring Threader" for five dollars such as http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007BOODP6. Works great.

I bought this as a replacement drawstring for some pants I sewed. It's a nice diameter and weight, and nice sturdiness-- you could use this drawstring for a variety of uses.

Fine product, preposterously high shipping charges, I paid more for shipping than the item and this is not a large piece!

Not much to really say about drawstrings, but these are nice and hold up well over time. Much better than the drawstrings that originally came with my GI.

For a larger guy, it still ties, but is a little too small. Quality is great however, very strong and will last for long time!

Great product, extremely durable and of better quality than the original provided. My only bit of constructive criticism is for the seller to utilize USPS priority mail shipping for $4.95 since I felt the shipping cost was slightly high. Would recommend regardless to anyone needing a great gi drawstring replacement.
