Beware of faulty touchpad of this generation of XPS
Received the item but the touchpad was not working properly. Went through all the usual channel and support, updated drivers and software with no luck. In the end, I purchase the premium support warranty (which then I can get the support overseas). The premium support was awesome though! Kudos to the premium support team. They sent the technician to meet me on site and replace my touchpad. Since then everything works great. So five star to the premium support team and one star for the product team.

Speaker issues and lack of support
The speaker is defective. People cannot hear me on web services such as Webex. My old lap top , a dell inspiron, works just fine.

Under expected..
I didn't like this laptop as expected coz, it overheats extremely when you connect the power cord. Also sometime it took long to turn on, and keyboard malfunction too..

Broken Product, No Support
Dell you have lost a customer forever. I am a very loyal customer until you provide products that don't work and zero service to stand behind them. I purchased this device from you for personal reasons and it broke shortly after. On top of that, the support team is slow to respond and after a month of waiting, I was told a new part to repair the device would be available in January, so I waited. Then at the end of January I was informed I had to wait until March. This put me beyond your "return period" so now I am stuck with a defective device. Seriously?! This is not acceptable and I am considering just throwing it in the garbage instead of attempting to continue with support (which is also running out of time for your warranty period) and buying from any number of your competitors!
