Colour not the same as in photo
Lovely kettle but more gold looking than the image which was ok but would have preferred it to be more like the photo , also came with a continental plug which was a bit of a faff to convert to UK plug. That aside I am satisfied with the purchase.

FAKE PRODUCT AND NOT COMPATIABLE WITH UK PLUG
Only just opened the product and the water tasted funny so I used several things to try and resolve and then spoke with Smeg who had advised the model number is incorrect and fake

EU PLUG.!.!!!!! DON'T BUY!!!!! Y(EU)K!
Stinking EU plug. Really Amazon.Try a bit harder and for the money should be UK. Comes with a UK plug protector on though - whats that all about? They already know it's the wrong, a con job. Get a grip.Got to chop it off now and void my warranty. But shiny.

EU version not UK
This has a European electric plug and not a UK one. This means before I use it I will need to get it replaced. No luck when speaking to Amazon about changing this.

EU PLUG NOT UK
Very disappointed when purchase arrived as the plug is an EU plug not a British one and it is not clearly pictured or outlined in the product description.
