So sad this didn't work out... and then it did!
The propeller blades are extremely thin. One of the blades came loose on the first flight shearing off another one and down it went. I'm really sad this was such a poorly made/QC checked product because these look so cool. My grandson is visiting for a few days and I got this as a gift and something we could play together and it was ruined by the product being useless after 1 minute. I don't know if it is just this manufacturer or if they all have the same problem but I'm going to buy another brand and try it out. What a disappointment for us both!Update: I was contacted almost immediately by Celine, customer support representative from USA Toyz and she had replacement Drones sent to me. I give their customer support 5 stars hands down. Impressive! Both of the replacement drones have been flown several times and are working fine. One is perfect and the second one is just a little off kilter but is ultimately playable. When I mentioned it to Celine, she gave me instructions to calibrate it. Had I received these two the first time around, I would have given the product a 5 star rating without question. I have also never experienced customer service like this before and that is saying a lot from someone who has provided customer service over the phone for years! Thank you USA Toyz for an all around great experience I have updated to 5 stars all around!

Fun for 1 day...battery lasted forever though!
This was a hit with ALL the kids at my daughters birthday party, but after the 1st day one of the propellers broke. Iโm hoping itโs going to be an easy process to get more propellers and replace.Other than that - the battery lasted much longer than the described 8 minutes. It was closer to maybe 20? I kept hoping it would just die already so we could move on to the next โgameโ. What a 1st world problem, right?!! It really is good that it lasted longer than expected, maybe just not in that particular moment. ;)Iโd recommend, as long as you equip yourself with extra propellers and be patient with getting it up & going. The directions try to be cutesy, but itโs not intuitive. Iโd rather they spend more time writing clear directions than trying to be cute & funny. On that note, to turn it on for 1st time hold down power button until lights come on, about 5-6 seconds. This was nowhere in our directions.

First unit died and waiting for the replacement unit
We this for our daughters birthday and she absolutely loved playing with it. We read the instructions and loved the flips. They played with it for two days, it was a charge up and play until it died fest, and then charge it again. On the third day the unit would not stay in the air. It would light up and act like it should be flying but would slowly go straight to the ground. After the initial review since the unit died in 3 days the company reached out to me and is sending a replacement unit. Will review the replacement unit once it arrives. The company is definitely 5 stars and I am hoping this unit will get 5 stars as well.

Very fragile
The Scoot 1 worked, sort of. We bought it as a birthday gift for our grandson. When it arrived we decided to test it before gifting it. We fully charged the battery, then tried it out. It would fly, it would would move away from your hand. Sadly, it would also suddenly crash into the ceiling and the floor. It only lasted about 5 minutes with two adults (over 65) playing with it. Nothing rowdy, just trying to make it fly back and forth between us. It crashed to floor and broke two propellors. Amazingly after that it would not fly any more!! It would try to fly, but just couldn't.My advise is that it is too fragile, certainly for children, probably for seniors as well (ha).We had fun with it while it lasted, but based on the price, the fun came at a cost of about $288/hour. That's a higher per hour cost than Disney World!! Too rich for our blood.

Fun Toy
Got one for my grandson for Christmas he had a good time once they figured out how to get it going . Easy to use. If you have dogs they are going to try to grab it

Easy to use
This thing is quite amazing. Just toss it up in the air and it flies. It flies rather stationary too and can be manipulated by putting your hands close to it. The battery doesn't last long, but that is typical of all these drones. It doesn't do flips very well like advertised.

Indoor fun for kids
Bought this for my 7yr old and he loves it! No complicated remote control, self guided drone is lots of fun! The battery life is not great, can probably get about 5-6 minutes of continuous play before the drones signals it needs to recharge. The drone does avoid bumping into objects and is quite durable. The flip-in-air feature is also cool...

Great concept BUT you get what you pay for.....
This thing was a blast while it lasted and it didn't last long. They obviously forget the durability testing on this TOY. 24 hours later and one crash into a wall and 3 of the 4 props were damaged making it completely USELESS. Not even worth the time to send it back and I will not change this review no matter what the company offers me. I mean come on, you have to know that kids are not going to be exactly gentle with this thing and you would thing you would ensure the props were the most durable and built to withstand a bit of punishment. As I said sad thing is this TOY was a blast to play with and everyone loved it, from grand kid to grand ma!!! I would not purchase again nor would I recommend this to anyone.
