Definitely not plug and play.
I'm sure it's a good shield. Maybe I was expecting too much. I wanted something I could plug onto my UNO, upload firmware and communicate with it through my laptop Bluetooth. Not so. I couldn't find anything online that made it easy for me to operate. It looks like I have to be more Arduino code literate to make it do what I want it to do.

There is a severe lack of documentation for how to use this product. I purchased three of these for planned projects and have so far wasted an entire weekend trying to make any of them work. If you are looking for a bluetooth shield, buy a different product.
