Great headphone case
Great headphone case, bought it for my HD598SE. It comes with a leather drawstring pouch of decent size and can carry your headphones as well if they aren't too big as an alternative carry. But probably best to keep wires, mp3 player and other accessories in the leather pouch as I'm sure that's it's intended use and there is room in the case itself for all of these things (depending on how big your headphones are). Leather pouch is of good quality and folds effortlessly and looks great. It also comes with a hand loop strap with a metal clip that can clip to the metal loop at the back of the hard shell case for easy carry and seems to be sturdy enough. However, It seems though that the head band section of the case, where the band of the headphones rest, the hard shell has a little bit of give to it, but not to the point to cause alarm. It also seems that this area doesn't have the same strength as the rest of the case, such as the area where the ear cups rest, as it can give if I press my thumbs down on it hard enough. It's not weak and is still quite sturdy, it just has a little bit of give to it if enough force is applied, where as my thumbs can not compress any other part of the case at all, even with decent force. I suppose this is ok, since most of the weight will be at the headphone ear cup area and the head band itself doesn't need as much support than the rest of the areas, given the head band weighs virtually nothing. Also, this headphone case is great if your headphone wire is detachable. If not, then you might run into clearance issues depending on headphone size etc. I'm sure if you wrap the wire well enough and stuff it into the leather pouch to prevent scratches, all will go well. These are just my observations and I feel it really doesn't detract from the overall quality of the case. I can tell it definitely has some impact resistance and would take quite a bit of force to crack the shell, even more so to damage the headphones themselves. The zippers are good quality, stitching is great and the overall build quality is quite impressive for the price. If you travel with this and have it in your checked luggage, I'm sure it will withstand most, if not all abuse the burden of traveling can throw at it. If it's on your carryon, I wouldn't even worry about a single thing - except a plane crash which at that point I would worry more about other things than headphones, lol. Sorry I had to, but don't worry plane crashes are extremely rare.Anyways, these are great for the price. Most definitely.

Keeps my audio equipment safe while commuting
This is an excellent case to keep your headphones protected while travelling. I own a set of Sennheiser 598s, and use them regularly. I wanted a travel case that would fit in my messenger bag and keep my headphones protected from the inevitable bumps and jostling that comes with commuting, and also have a nice place for storage instead of sitting on my desk. This case fits the bill. While the case looks somewhat soft from the pictures, it is actually pretty rigid, and your headphones will fit nicely inside, along with the cords. I'm also able to put a smaller set of earbuds inside, and there is a bit of room left over should I want to put in some additional audio cables as well. The case zips shut snugly and appears to be stitched pretty well. I have used it for a few weeks now carrying my headphones back and forth to work and I haven't noticed the stitching coming loose like I have with some shoddier products. With regards to space, the case profile does not add much more area that what you would need in your bag or case over what your headphones would normally take up, and it keeps your cords and accessories together instead of who knows where. It doesn't add much in the way of extra weight either, I can barely tell there is something extra in my bag.All said, if you travel a bit with your headphones, this case will keep them pretty safe unless you're working somewhere where you'd have very heavy objects slamming all over. For a typical office drone like myself, the case stands up to normal bumps and the occasional dropped bag with no problems. If you do work or travel in harsher conditions, something more durable may be needed. It will also keep your headphones and cords organized on your desk even if you don't travel all that much, although you may just need a headphone stand over a bag for that. If you don't have those issues, this case is a great way to store your headphones. This case gets an unqualified recommendation.

Very Satisfactory Headphone Case
The recessed area both holds headphones steady as well as providing a built in handle that cannot wear out (other cases reported straps breaking). There was very little odor to the case, as seems to have been frequently reported in other reviews. Perhaps some cases are formed before all the chemicals have mixed. Case does fit a JBL Everest. Case is not uber rigid, but affords quite sufficient protection.

Sennheiser 650s have a nice travel case!
I bought these for some newly acquired Sennheiser 650's. I travel extensively and wanted to keep the 650's protected and clean. Not quite as rigid as I thought but a solid case nonetheless. I didnt want to keep taking the actually case/box with me to travel as it is bulky and takes up precious packing space. The look is great and my cans fit nicely inside along with the adapter cable it comes with. I also fit a few USB sticks inside as well for dj gigs. Solid choice.

Great case
Fits the 598cs perfectly and don't have to remove the cable. I lug this around in my backpack and use it 4-5 days a week at work. No issues, awesome protection (hard shell with slight give) and nice price.

Doesn't fit M50x well
It doesn't fit the M50x that well. Its a really tight fit that doesn't make you feel like it's very secure inside it.

Worth the money
I got this since my I got myself a set of JBL Everest 700s and wanted something to protect them. The zipper functions well and the case is good quality. The headphones fit a tad loosely and they do clunk around a little bit, but it's not a big deal and I know they are well protected. I also like how the indenture in the case serves as a nice carrying handle. It would have been nice had there been some soft foam inside the case. But, definitely worth the price and I am pleased.

Works with most headphones.
If the headphones are to small the crusher wireless they'll be moving around inside. (I got brainwavez ear pads and it goesnt move around anymore. My hd558 fit very well. VERY good case. And room for a wire in the center.

Good quality, sturdy
This case fits my headset perfectly (Microsoft LifeChat LX-4000). Good quality, sturdy, and great price. I wish I would have bought this sooner. My first headset was destroyed in my backpack when travelling, so I had to order a new headset which wasn't cheap. This case will extend the life of my new headset.
