I purchased this Venetian blind specifically to use on my back door, as we had been using just a voile there since we moved in a few years ago and I was beginning to really dislike how a voile looked. After redecorating the kitchen I decided I wanted a Venetian blind instead.So the surface we have attached it to is a PVC door. The holes were already in there I assume from a previous tenant, and we were looking that this blinds fittings happened to line up with it perfectly, so we didn’t have the hassle of drilling, which was something.So we pretty much used the fittings in the pre drilled holes without issue, and then it’s just a case of sliding the blinds top bar into the fittings slats and then sliding the finishing pieces over the top to secure.You can have the blind as long or as short as you’d like as it is adjustable via the strings on the side, and you can ensure it doesn’t go any lower that you’d like it to at any point by adjusting the clear plastic circles on the strings.We chose the black colour, which has fit wonderfully in with our other kitchen decor.I think the blind is good quality, definitely akin to high street store quality. It was simply fitted, looks nice, and the price point was very good.We’ve set ours to completely cover the window area of the door, something that I think was intended to allow more light into the kitchen, but is a pain in terms of privacy from the neighbours and coziness at night. This blind sorts the problem out wonderfully.I love that with just a turn of the handle I can allow in as much light as I choose, and pretty much shut it off at night for complete privacy.

Arrived very promptly in a couple of days, undamaged and as described. I bought 6 of these to fit the same number of large double glazed, wood framed, windows in a log cabin. The blinds were very easy to install - I reckon no more than 5/6 mins each. Just required a pencil, a spirit level, screwdriver and drill to make pilot holes for the screws. The fixing kit includes two plastic end sockets which I surface mounted on the window frame with 2 screws each. The blind slots into these. Once this is done you can then mark where to fit to the frame a supplementary supporting metal bracket (which also slots into a groove cut into the blind frame) with 3 screws. The blinds operate (raise and tilt) easily and as expected. I cannot comment on their longevity yet as only just installed, but they seem to be perfectly well made for their task and the material (PVC?) seems strong enough. Overall these are perfectly functional and seem very good value for money.

Very good blinds, easy to go up and a good quality. I dont open and close them much and leave them set in place and they serve the purpose well. Great price, thanks a lot for the blinds, would recommend for decent size bathroom windows.

Delivered quickly and was securely packaged.Used to replace a roller blind in spare bedroom.It's straightforward to hang (assuming some DIY skills).It looks very neat and adds privacy which the roller blind didn't of course when rolled up to let the light in.

5 stars! There was an initial mistake when I received the wrong product but they quickly resolved that for me free of charge and I’m very happy with the blinds - they look great!

The cord that works the blind is not attached/tied very well - 4 broke really quickly after installing them

I needed a cheap blind to stop glaring sun, but didn’t want a black out. I rate my diy skills as B , with A at the top, so have plenty of tools . I opted to trim this blind to fit internally, so measured up and cut through plastic top and bottom rails with a junior hacksaw, then with a bit of sand paper cleaned up each side. As I was fitting to upvc window frame I superglued the top holding brackets in place , then using the provided screws and a small powered screwdriver screwed them in place. Put the blind up, then using scissors and the instructions removed about 25cms of unwanted slats from the bottom. Whole job , half an hour tops, including a coffee as I read the instructions.I have seen sturdier blinds, but this does the trick, and I won’t be giving it a lot of use, just the occasional twist of the rod to let in more light. Great for my needs
