Decent Tablet
The tablet itself is decent. It does what it's supposed to do. The programmable hotspots at the top of the tablet active area are nice. The problem was installing the software. It really came through trial and error with the CD-ROM that was provided and it took a few tries. I believe after the first couple of attempts using the installer, I gave up and searched the contents of the CD and found what I needed, namely the drivers and the manuals. I found it strange that there were no references to websites for support, either on the packaging, inside the packaging, or even in the electronic user manuals. Only recently, I found the turcomusa.com website, but it lack any worthwhile content. The page that does have drivers takes you to a third-party site. The stylus takes a single AAA battery. There are actually two styli that come with the tablet, one of which I keep at home if I bring my work laptop and the tablet home with me. Be careful when installing the battery, though. Once it is in the holder, make sure to line up the arrow/groove with the battery connection, otherwise, the stylus will not go back together and trying to separate the two halves is difficult. Twisting is a no-no as it will break the battery connection. You can map it to a dual monitor setup, such as what I have with my laptop--the laptop monitor and an external monitor. However, if the USB is unplugged from the laptop and then replugged in, only the laptop monitor will be active and you would have to restart the system. The stylus does have two programmable buttons. Unlike a Wacom stylus (at least the one I have for my personal Intuos 3 tablet), there is no "eraser."From my experience, Wacom does have some of the best graphics tablets, but you're also going to pay more than you may want to for them. Turcom isn't flashy, doesn't have the support Wacom provides, and was cumbersome to install. It is compact, but if I was buying one for personal use, I would stick with Wacom. On a budget, though, this will do.

Happy with what I see so far, and some advice for future buyers
I just opened mind today and had no issues with installing the item on my laptop, which runs windows 7.Item arrived in appropriate sized box and all the items were in it, which was: The Tablet, a small box containing the manual and Cd with the driver install, two batteries, two pens, the pen holder and a small plastic zip lock that held an extra tip attachment and three tips.I first put the cd in the drive and went through the driver setup and after that it made me restart my laptop. Then I connected the tablet and ran the Cd again and did set up for the tablet. After that I didn't know why the tablet still wasnt working. My laptop informed me that everything installed properly till I realized I forgot to put the battery in the pen.Several of the reviews mentions issues with putting the battery in the pen, to where they have accidentally broken it trying. Best advice that worked for me, was to flip the grey rubber cover back towards the direction of the tip of the pen. Giving you enough view to see where it should connect. The first few times i tried to do it while the rubber covered where it comes together, I couldnt figure out why It wouldnt go back together. I would remove the batter and it would come back together fine but every time the batter was placed back in it, the two pieces would not close, so I got the idea to move the rubber back to I could see. The battery makes it a tight fit. Make sure to grip the front of the pen, avoiding to put pressure on the tip of the pen which might lead to breaking it and give a push and it should clip back together.Once the battery was in, it worked!!. I was so happy. Only thing was its range on the pad was odd till I realized I hate my screen extended onto a TV, because I like to do my work on my laptop while I watch a movie through an HDMI cable. I'll wait till my boyfriend to get home to see If there is a way to figure out how to keep it from working through both screens and for it to just stay on my laptop screen. Or I will just have to not extend the screen onto my tv or just keep to my laptop alone. So if by chance there is no fix for this, and you like to work on two screens you might have a bit of an issue with the space the pens moves being awkward.Hope for better luck for others who might of had issues with this and for those who are looking to buy this item, I am happy with the way it works. I will change this review to 5 stars once I have worked with it enough to feel I am 100% satisfied but so far its excellent.

Great Item and a Great Price
Firstly I would like to stress that the wire of the tablet that I received had some markings on it from the packaging. I feared that it would be damaged by I was wrong.Other than that, I would like to point out that this is a great item. It came with 2 pens (each with their own battery), additional pen tips, the pen holder, the CD with the drivers and the tablet itself. I could not find an item with the same contents for such a price. Also, the top hotkeys are programmable and you can change the program / name of the shortcut that executed when pressing the buttons. I had no problems installing the drivers for the tablet and I tried installing them before and after pluggin in the tablet. It worked both ways.Altough I can not comment on the actual quality of the hardware itself as it is not my expertise it appears to be a great starter table.

great value
So far so good, love the wide screen aspect ratio and it works fine in CS6 so I'm happy although I'll need to do some work with the driver software as I noticed its upset a few things on my windows 8.1 laptop. No big deal I'm sure it just requires an upgrade of the software. Nice to see you get an extra pen and spare nibs too.

100% Recommend this!
I absolutely love this tablet. I'm slightly scared ill scratch it too much but with the price I guess I can buy another if I have to. A small problem is the tabs at the top, they are meant to be touched with the pen, sometimes Ill press them accidentally or when I press them purposely they wont work. Its not that I need them that much, but its best to state for potential buyers. I recommend this, 100%.

Nice Graphics Tablet that works with Windows 7 & 8.1
A fine graphics tablet although stated it works with Windows 7 it also works with Windows 8.1.I have not tried programming any of the buttons and I have tried any of the bundeled software which may only work with Windows XP.
