The Micro Mini Kickboard is the highest rated scooter for children aged 2-5. Your child will love "surfing the sidewalk" on their Micro Mini, and you will love the years of fun and exercise it provides. The Mini is one of the best value present you will buy your child. The smooth gliding Micro Mini's 3 wheels, low-to-the-ground deck and safe steering all contribute to stability that makes the Mini perfect for pre-schoolers and kindergartners. What makes the Mini unique and fun is the lean-to-steer design; children steer by using their body weight to lean right and left, intuitively learning to lean into a turn, while developing balance and coordination used in many sports. The Micro Mini has the smoothest, quietest ride available thanks to high quality wheels and a flexible fiberglass reinforced deck, which together absorb bumps in the sidewalk. Safety certified by the CPSC, the Micro Mini is recommended for children up to 110 lbs. SAFETY - For best protection, we strongly recommend that children wear helmets and knee pads when riding. Non marking wheels allow children to learn to scoot in the safety of your home. BEST SCOOTER for TODDLER
We originally pick up a scooter at walmart for our 3 yr old daughter - dont remember the name brand - see picture of pink scooter. It was stiff, hard to steer and the wheel were hard plastic that didnt roll smooth. The brake cover was hard plastic that my daughter couldnt step on hard enough to stop, so she would have to jump off or run into something to stop. Our neighbor's got this scooters for their girls (2 and 4).... and our daughter not just loved it - but easily rode it!The steering is by leaning - so it took a couple times for the girls to figure out to use their weight and lean into the direction they wanted to go.But the wheels are super smooth and roll over most surfaces; the girls ride scooters to and from each house in the yard. Most importantly - the brake! The brake is activated by stepping on the stopper and applying pressure to back wheel. Stopping is simple and SMOOTH - the girls dont fall off or fall over the handlebars - even when trying to stop fast.It is lightweight and the colors are vibrant... we have the aqua, the neighbors have pink and purple. It was a night-day difference - the girls ride the scooters daily! The picture shows the girls "ready to ride"... as stated before - they are 3, 4 (in the middle) and 2 years old.

Comment contains actual child and MM Kick Scooter measurements for all parents wondering if this scooter will fit your child
I bought two of these scooters for my boy/girl twins' 3rd birthday. I had never heard of these scooters before until reading the Top (energy-expending) Toys of 2015 article on social media; see http://www.modernparentsmessykids.com/gift-guide-2013-best-toys-for-keeping-kids-active-indoors-out.The scooters arrived in great condition, very well packaged. Assembly took less than 10 seconds....literally. I might not be able to make toast without burning it, but I successfully put together this two-piece, one-assembly-manuever all by myself! Please hold your applause!!My 3-year old son's measurements:Height: 38" (inches)Weight: 36 lbs (pounds)Shoe Size: 8.5 XW (toddler sizes)My 3 year-old daughter's measurements:Height: 39" (inches)Weight: 38.4 lbs (pounds)Shoe Size: 8.5 W (toddler sizes)These scooters are very well made. They are not flimsy, like most other character-patented, razor or radio flyer scooters. The construction is very durable, as well as the mechanics of the scooter itself. What attracted me most to this scooter was the foot-board. Across it is 4.25" and lengthwise it is almost 11.75". Compared to the Radio Flyers version of the toddler scooter, it tips very easily because the foot-board is extremely wide, at almost 5". From tip to tip, the handlebars are 10.25" across, and provide very easy steering. The braking on the scooter is very steady, rather than choppy or non-existent. My twins have scootered (it's now a word) through water without issue or fall to the scooter or themselves. There is no slippage from the wheels. They have used this scooter almost every single day since their birthday party in mid-July, sometimes twice a day. I did debate on whether or not to get the Micro Mini or the Micro, but opted for the Mini only because of price and uncertainty if this would be something they would actually enjoy or just get pushed to the back of the garage.**Helmets are from Joovy JOOVY Noodle Helmet, Red

Perfect for my 2 year old
***Update*** We've had this about 5 months and it is my sons absolute favorite thing. The reason I'm updating my review is because I have never worked with such a great company. I accidently hit my sons scooter with my car. It was a stupid mistake and I was very upset. We're trying to save money and I didn't know how I could buy him another one. I decided to look up the company's website and they acutally work incredibly well with mistakes like this. They sent me the parts I needed to fix the one he has. They responded extremly fast especially due to their offices having to close due to "sever weather". I also noticed while I was disassempling it that it is incredibly well made! I am very impressed with this company and I will be buying all my scooters here.I got this for my son's 2nd birthday, and I am super happy with it. The only thing bad I have to say is that he likes it too much. I literally can't do anything other than watch him on his scooter. He rides his friends scooter sometimes and that one just isn't the same quality. It is stiff and hard to steer. This one has an easy lean and steer feature that I think he will get much quicker. My sister's son gave up on a regular scooter because it was too hard to ride, and I'm thinking this one is going to work perfectly. Worth the extra $

Perfect for a Toddler
We bought this for our son who is a little older than 2 1/2. As for the product - top notch quality. The wheels spin freely, and the scooter performs well on concrete and asphalt. I'm 6'2 and 225 pounds and I have stood on the scooter for a few kicks (you could tell the scooter was screaming for mercy) but it definitely held up. Initially we were concerned that our son would have trouble kicking it in the cul-de-sac with all of the older kids who have scooters, but after a day of playing with the Micro Mini inside on the carpet, he is scooting his way all over the place. Great product, can't recommend it more highly. P.S. Do yourself a favor and get a helmet, knee pads, and shoulder pads...without those, I think my review would have been titled "Great and Fast Way to Head to the Emergency Room"

Great for our 3-year old
Bought this for our 3-year old son, and he loves it. He seems to find it much easier steering this kind of scooter, where you don't actually have to turn the handlebars (you just lean them to the right or the left), and this makes it very stable and secure for a young child who is perhaps not very agile or confident.

What can I say - one of the best £60 I have spent on a toy
ought the scooter(one in orange and one in blue) for my 3 year old twins for christmas present. 6 months down the line, the scooters have held up well(not broken despite rough handling by little hands). Kids whizzed around on it in the park, to nursery and also on our holidays. What can I say - one of the best £60 I have spent on a toy.

Great easy-to-steer scooter
Great scooter. My 3-year-old absolutely loves this scooter. It's extremely easy to steer and a good height for him. It also has a back "brake" which allows him to stop without ruining his trainers! Wheels are also easy to wipe clean as he likes using it inside on our laminate flooring.Definitely recommend it.

Great scooter
Great little scooter. Bought for my three and a half year old grandson last year, who loves it. Scoots along at breakneck speed! Have had no problems with it at all. Having to replace it with a larger scooter now he is growing taller and is four and a half, but has been worth the money for the pleasure it has given him.

Lovely product
My daughter love this just wish I’d bought the extendable one. I chose this one to take on holidays as it is light. We bought the horse head too... it’s really cute
