1996 Ford Mustang. I read instructions and was getting confused. Watched video on YouTube to learn they just snap on. Didn’t need any tools to install. Luckily old ones were easy to remove with a small flat head.

I have a 1996 Mustang that needed new trunk lifts. They were easily found on Amazon. Received on time. Part was easily installed and works better then ever before. Highly recommend this vender.

Easiest install ever!

Wow - this is the easiest fix for a car issue that you could ever hope for. I'm not sure that the lifts I replaced on my 2001 Mustang were the original from the factory or not but for whatever was on there, these MAXPOW lifts meet or exceed their quality absolutely. When taking off the old lifts, you do not need to pry the metal clips off completely - just pry the clips back a little and you will be able to pull the ball joint apart and keep the old clips stuck on the old lifts. These new lifts have their own pre-installed clips - push on once and they hold securely. The quality of this product is top notch - there is even a little white bead of lubricant pre-applied in each ball joint socket - it will spread itself when you push them on. The fit was absolutely perfect which is good because it is next to impossible to compress these by hand. I simply had to have my trunk wide open and they fit right on fully extended.
