Panasonic Toughbook Cf-52 Lq154m1lg19 Replacement LAPTOP LCD Screen 15.4" WUXGA CCFL SINGLE (Substitute Replacement LCD Screen Only. Not a Laptop )

I bought this to replace the screen in a bus maintenance facility's Toughbook - it fit in very well and the laptop now works/looks as good as new.

Great display, came quickly (from amazon).The power connector is too short, and I had to solder an extension to it, similar to what another reviewer said. It also does not come with the pads from the original display, so if you or your customer tossed the original display, you have to figure something else out. I used the fluffy adhesive window sealing tape from home depot, worked like a charm.This does not appear to be an OEM replacement, or I ordered the wrong one. Who knows. Looks good, it works, but I had to modify, which is why it got 3 stars.

Ordered this through work to repair a cracked LCD on one of our CF-52s. The package it shipped in provided excellent protection. The display fit our CF-52 perfectly. I did not have problems with the backlight power cable -- it was sufficiently long enough. The display connector fit properly. As others have mentioned, I did have to transfer the foam shock isolators in order to mount it -- but that was easy if you are patient, take your time and think things through. Upon power up, there were no issues and out of the box, no apparent dead pixels. I did deduct one star because according to the Panasonic customer service department, the CF-52s only came from the factory with non-reflective displays; but this display is high-gloss. I expect it will present problems when working outdoors. But given that Panasonic wanted $780 for a factory replacement part, it is a trade I'm willing to make.

I ended up getting a name brand screen. I believe it was a Samsung. No issues with the screen.

The inverter wires on the substitute screen were about an inch too short which required a modification of the mounting for the inverter to make it work properly.
