The instruments have a rough finish. I've had these scalers before from another seller but I left them wet and they rusted. In this packet even the scaler for my dogs has a rough finish. I don't have much tartar but want to scale the areas my toothbrush can't reach. The scaler for tartar is blunt and rough. I can't get it to remove plaque. It only feels like it's scratching my teeth. Not good. Shipping was fast and packaging was good. That's all I can say.

Put three in the bathroom and use one for weeding vinyl. Works great but be careful not to stick yourself, they are very sharp. Doh!

I bought these to weed vinyl. They are difficult to work with. The tips get bent easily, causing vinyl to snag. I would not use this for vinyl. Not sure I would use for my teeth either being they bend so easily.

I have braces and sometimes it can be hard to remove small food particles. These really help!
