I usually keep it fairly short (1/2 in or less) because of the curling on the right side in particular, and because with that thickness often comes the dreaded beard dander.I finally decided to take a stab at actually grooming my beard face. I picked up some beard shampoo, some beard conditioner, and this brush duo.Pros:* The brush and comb both look and feel nice. When I wear them around in public, people notice - probably marveling at their elegance. They're smaller than I expected, but ended up feeling good in my hands and easy to travel with.* The bristle brush is great for a pre-shower exfoliation session. Feels good, works good.* The bristle brush is great for spreading out the moisturizer/oil stuff after the shower.* The bristle brush is great for making my curls and frizz take (a reasonable) shape.* The comb is fun for my kids to poke my face with, and works well on my head hair.Neutral:* The brush doesn't whisper to me in the dark. My nights remain peaceful, if sometimes lonely.Cons:* Neither brush or comb has reversed the aging process, or helped me combat the tummy I've developed.

I purchased this brush and comb set on December 22nd, 2018 because on December 20th, 2018 I decided to cut my hair after 15 years. I got bored with wearing a ponytail and wanted to go back to my short hair style like I had when I was younger.Product review: I use the brush to brush my now short hair and the brush with its soft bristles do a fantastic job on my hair. I even used the brush a couple of times on my goatee and it works great on my facial hair also.I grew out my goatee and the comb in this set does a wonderful job at combing through my beard with or without beard oil.Conclusion: I would have been 100% happy with just having the brush and nothing else at the price point that this set is selling for but to get a 100% natural boar bristle brush and an real wood beard comb for under $13 (with free shipping for Prime members like myself) is a fantastic deal.I liked this brush so much that one day after using it my wife told me she was going to a beauty supply store and usually I would just say ok see you later but I decided to go with her because I wanted another 100% natural boar bristle brush that I could carry around with me, leave in the car, etc because I'm not going to let anything happen to my brush and comb combo because I wasn't expecting the set to be so nice. So I found a 100% natural boar bristle brush at the beauty supply store made of wood in a camouflage color that I take with me when I leave the house.If you have short hair and need a soft brush like to brush your hair or if you need a brush to tame those beard whiskers and a beard comb to tame those longer beard hairs then you cannot beat the price and quality of this set.

This is the second one I’ve had of these. Lost the first one. Great at pushing beard oil and pomade through the beard and is durable.

I was really worried about getting a beard brush because of the varied density of hairs on my face. My upper lip and chin have very dense, coarse hair. And my cheeks and neck have sparse, thin hair. Mix that with oily, soft skin and you get a goatee that gets wild and unruly, but is very difficult and painful to tame.The Smooth Viking beard and mustache brush is a godsend. I love the design. It's small enough that I don't scratch up my cheeks and neck, and strong enough to push through my goatee very effectively. And the tips of the bristles are surprisingly soft, so my skin isn't irritated, and I can carefully brush the edges safely.Highly recommended.

This is a great beard brush. I have short hair and it also works great as a hair brush. I would buy this brush again.

Face it, you don’t have as much hair as you used to. This little brush is nicely made and won’t take up a lot of space in your kit. Buy it for your beard, loan it to your head!

The brush is ok, but the narrow end of the comb are wide & thick teeth and impossible to put thru my beard. The wider end again is too big and thick to be helpful. It may be good for a long beard but not a shorter one. Basically, it's a terrible beard comb!!
