Not as difficult as you'd suspect!
My mother recommended this cleanse to me 3 weeks after she had completed it. She was already a great eater; everything organic, has her own chickens and eggs, steamed greens every night, meat bought from local farms, etc. She lost 8 lbs using this cleanse and kept the weight off for 3 weeks meaning that it likely wasn't just water weight and this cleanse isn't just for people who don't eat well. She wasn't overweight either. So I tried the cleanse because I was gassy, bloated, uncomfortable, and in need of some motivation to get back to the gym and practice healthy eating habits after a 2 month hiatus. I'm currently on day 7 and too excited to not write a review. I have not experienced any of the horrible side effects most reviewers have written about, particularly the bowel movements, and neither did my mother. I did have a slight headache and was very tired for the first few days but was able to go on a 12 mile bike ride by day 5. So far I have lost at least 2 inches around my waist (around 4 lbs), have improved bowel habits, and have significantly decreased my appetite. I feel more comfortable and less heavy and am getting more quality sleep. The first few days were hard to get through, especially since it was a weekend, but it has become easier every day since. It took quite a few days to start noticing any changes so don't give up!The first few days were rough when attempting to find foods to eat and avoiding the wrong foods, but once I found my menu I was very satisfied. Every day I had about 1/3 cup of cooked organic brown rice with an egg fried in butter on top, seasoned with garlic salt, pepper, italian herbs, and curry. I also had various fruits and raw almonds on a daily basis, which was always a nice sweet taste after a meal and hasn't got old yet. I found it very easy to replace all breads and noodles with organic brown rice. When I craved a snack I just popped some organic popcorn, drizzled some butter over it and seasoned it with garlic salt. We used the grill a lot; chicken breast, wild salmon, brussel sprouts, and broccoli. You can make a nice dressing with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and various seasonings, which I added to cooked and chilled organic quinoa loaded with raw broccoli, peppers, and onions. I also whipped up some tasty mashed potatoes with almond milk, butter, garlic, curry, and italian herbs. I am a coffee drinker and often hear gasping from those around me when adding sugar to my coffee because I added so much. After just a couple of days I got used to coffee & almond milk without the sugar and have not once wished to add sugar since. Another satisfying snack was baby carrots and guacamole. You can also make smoothies with frozen fruit and almond milk! The point of this is that the list of foods really isn't restrictive- you can make dozens of tasty and satisfying meals if you just spend some time looking up recipes or being creative. I often ate bread, pasta, and cheese before this and am doing quite well complying to the rules. There are a TON of pills that you have to take every day. At first I got brief, mild stomach cramps after taking them. Other reviewers have complained about the liquid but I have been adding 3 squirts into 8-10oz of water, mixing it, and then using that water to take the pills and the taste hasn't bothered me at all. The pills are massive and uncomfortable to swallow. They contain a lot of the same ingredients in the different kinds of pills. I'm also not sure what all of this stuff does as it's not described in the booklet that comes with the cleanse. I can't say anything for certain about the effect of the pills due to my dramatic change in eating habits when I started, however, I will say that I will definitely do this again because it's working for me. I think they may have helped to regulate my bowel habits but I'm sure the diet has helped too.If you have anything more than a mild version of IC, I would avoid this cleanse as it may cause a flare up. The pills are loaded with spices that may irritate you. I have mild IC and have had increased frequency, but no pain. You can find the list of foods for this cleanse on pinterest. The author also has some interesting recipes on his website and there are recipes available for it on pinterest.

Highly recommend this IF you can stick to the suggested diet
This is a great detox IF you're willing to stick to the suggested diet. It is gluten-free, too, in case any fellow celiacs are wondering. Don't take herbal supplements at the same time as you take the detox capsules- wait a few hours. I took gingko biloba and dong quai in the morning, at the same time I took the detox supplements, and I got a bad hot flash and my skin turned red. No guarantees that's why, but that was the only weird reaction I had, and it only happened when I took other herbs in the same gulp.I've done this detox three times so far (once every year or two), and two times have been incredibly successful. The third time, I did it because I wanted to lose weight after being at a desk job for a year. However, I was grieving so I did not stay consistent with the suggested diet very well ("screw this, I need some chocolate and Disney!" ugh), and I could easily tell that it was less effective. The first two times I took it, I stuck to the meal plan, and I was very amazed because it helped me kick all of my food cravings. I haven't desired ice cream or milk shakes since the first time I did this detox, and honestly, I have had some ice cream and shakes since then and did not find very much satisfaction in my consumption of them. I did not crave sugar or cheese after the second detox, either... However, having a "girls night" with friends where people brought and ate lots of chocolate and cookie dough booted the old cravings for sugar back up a few months later. I just ordered this detox to take this spring, so hopefully I can kick those cravings again, lol. The cheese cravings never came back, though, so now I have cheese on occasion but no longer in excess. This detox is amazing for helping you get over that metaphorical bridge and adjusting your diet for the long-term. Every time I've taken it, I've felt so much lighter and have more energy, stamina, and a more positive outlook on life for at least a month after. I highly recommend this product IF you are willing to stick to the suggested diet plan for the duration of the detox (and hopefully longer!).During the detox, I never experienced pain or diarrhea, but I did experience two days during the second week in which I felt very weak and shaky. Other than that, felt pretty normal throughout. This detox is also good for assisting in the removal of parasites (found that one out on accident, may I just say EWWW, even if they are "common" according to the hundreds of articles I read while freaking out after that experience). The diet plan included in the detox kit isn't bad- it's actually not that different from what I normally eat as a person with celiac's disease, only it suggests not eating sugar or dairy. For those of you without my obnoxious intestine issues, it suggests cutting out flour. I found out I had celiac's at age 24, so I had been tasting delicious floury foods up until then, and cutting flour out of my diet was incredibly difficult. The gluten-free substitutes to bread and pizza crust and especially cookies usually taste like sand, so I almost never eat anything with gluten-free flour anyway. I'm telling you this so you can choose whether sticking to the suggested diet included with this detox is going to work for you. The diet wasn't as difficult for me because I have to eat like it most of the time anyway, but it might be harder for people who enjoy burgers or pizza and don't want to go without those for a few weeks (my boyfriend couldn't make it 3 weeks). Again, the detox isn't nearly as effective if you don't stick to the diet! Difficult, but doable, and I can't tell you enough how much better I felt after doing this.

Herbal D-Tox
Overview -I lost 5 lbs in the 12 days and I feel less bloated. I bought this mainly as a jump start to get me back on the right track. I didnt follow the diet to a "T" for 1, because I will NEVER and I mean NEVER give up cheese!! Its just not happening, and for 2, I didnt have the means nor was I willing to spend that much money just on myself for 12 days. In a nut shell the diet is fresh fish and organic veggies. I followed the good old fashion protein and veggies. I also didnt give up drinking, I stuck to only vodka because it does say absolutely no beer or wine.Specifics -Day 1 was super easy, anyone can do something for 1 day. Days 2 and 3, I had a 48 headache. I read a little more into it and that was the toxins in my blood. The hardest days for me were 3 and 4. You really cant eat anything, and all food just started tasting bad, I didnt want to eat. (This has really helped me with portion control too) Once you get past day 5 its a breeze. I go out to eat a lot for my job so I've learned how to order pretty much anywhere. The contents -It is a bunch of pills to take (6 pills twice a day) and the drops taste nasty, but you get use to it.The laxative wasnt harsh to me, but does work.I will do this again probably in a few months. I liked the challenge! Almost makes me want to start another! This retails for around $50 in a health food store so you're getting a really good deal ordering on here.

Excellent product! One of the best purchase I’ve ever made for myself.
I had a few New Year resolutions, and feeling well/looking great is my high priority this year. This product has the highest review on amazon with a reasonable price, So I decided to make this kit my first detox purchase. In the first week, I didn’t feel much difference. The only difference was 1-2 bowel movements after breakfast and dinner after taking the herbal pills. I actually expected strong lax effect, similar to that of my slim tea, but I also know extensive lax effect is never that healthy to our body. Instead of returning the program, I decided to be more patient. After all, majority of people said in their reviews that they felt amazing after, and the recommended menu is very beneficial to our health anyway. Plus my colleague who did this program said he felt amazing after.I’m really glad I didn’t quit. I started to feel so great, light, energetic, and positive in day 8. Due to regular bowel movements and daily consumption of organic brown rice instead of white rice, I stopped bloating. My face became much smaller. My facial structure looked much better with less water in my face. I felt so positive and upbeat everyday. This positive energy started to attract better luck during networking as and at work well.I strongly recommend this detox kit. It’s one of the best purchase I’ve ever made. Now I’m almost done my 15-day liver detox after the herbal detox, continuing to feel amazing everyday!

A fantastic way to kick start healthy eating!
Just finished this cleanse. I needed to do something as I had gained 10 winter weight pounds and had been feeling really low energy/sluggish. I was strict and never cheated once and counted my calories on an app and lost 4 pounds. I also have so much more energy and dont feel as sluggish as I did before. I am so happy I did this, I am going to take a break for a few weeks then do it again to hopefully lose those last 6 pounds. I never felt hungry on the cleanse as you can still eat alot, it just forces you to basically cut out the crap in your diet and gets you to eat healthy foods. I would definitely recommend meal planning or eating the same thing over and over gets old fast. The herb pills/drops were easy to take and definitely do their job, be prepared for that hah! Now I dont feel the need to go out and eat a bunch of junk food now that the cleanse is over, having some weight loss and increase in energy has motivated me to keep the healthy eating up which was exactly what I needed. For $40 it is well worth it!

Great, gentle detox!
I've done this cleanse a couple times before following periods of overindulgence and so far this is the easiest round. I'm just finishing Day 7 and currently down 6lbs, though that was not the primary goal. I found the laxative really gentle and besides a slight headache the morning of Day 2 have not experienced any negative effects. Planning is key! Make sure you take some time to make a meal plan and do some bulk cooking so you don't end up starving while you're preparing food.

Okay
Pills are pretty big. It did clean up my system pretty well. First two days I had headache & diarhea, but afterwards it got pretty easy. Overall I lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks and haven't gained it back a month afterwards. I wasn't as restrictive has the cure asked to be. I did eat some cheese and would allow myself bread in smaller quantities. I mean, it may have did a cleanse, but having changed a bit the way I eat, the weight loss might just have been a result of that.

Give it a try, u might love it like i did.
I was very very skeptical of this system when i purchased it, because i tried other herbal slimming products before and none ever worked, many made me have seripus water retention issues. But after finishing this system, i have to say thumbs up and i would use it again to detox. First of, i really was very lax with my diet, still drank alcphol, had a couple of cheat days, but i dis try to eat more protein and veggies than usual, and i did cut most starch out of my diet except for potatoes. I started with just one lax pills and after a couple of days i started to take two. The system didnt make me have watery diarrhea which to me was a good aign, instead i went pooping twice a day instead of once a day, was never watery. There may be slight cramping, but if u feel its too painful then reduce lax pill to one. Over all, i saw my skin getting brighter throughout the 14 days, i lost 2 pounds, and my stomach definitely lost some bulge even though i forgot to measure the before, but super obvious when i wear the same clothes. Im happy, i will try to continue eating healthy, and im considering doing this again in january to get rid of my holiday toxins.
